Gerry - hmm not sure - the spines have no meat so if they puncture your skin I am sure it will HURT and according to Wikepedia - when alive venom can cause systemic effects such as vomiting, fever and sweating and has been lethal in a few cases. But properly cleaned they are not harmful - the fish I bought had no spines.

Sweetness - Thank you for taking the time to share so many beautiful pictures and write about your experiences in Negril. I loved every single picture and update. I felt like I was there. Enjoying the amazing food, breathing in the fresh sea air, spending time with beautiful people and relaxing into the Island vibe. Every update took me back to Jamaica and I appreciated it so much. I'm sad that it had to come to an end because I loved being their vicariously through your images and words.

Doesn't it just renew your faith and happiness that a common love of a place can bring such people together? Sweetness, thank you so much for the invitation to your soon come back party. We all REALLY had a great time!! I feel honored that you invited all the boardies. The food was off the hook as well as the company. I just made it back home about 10pm tonight and YES, I am already back on the computer, since I didn't bring mine on the trip. Blessings to you and soon come back too!!!
BTW, lionfish is awesome!! We had some brown stewed and it was great!! Hope we meet pon da rock soon!! After many trips, I didn't think it could get better.........but it did. Had a fabulous trip!! Love ya gal!!!
