Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
Ok need more advice.
Catcha is booked. Tensing Pen for the rooms I want are also booked or I would to really push out the dates which I don't want to.
So back to Xtabi. I stayed there last time in an ocean cottage and we really loved it. I admit I would like a nicer pool and a jacuzzi while staring off the cliffs but it wasn't a detriment.
They do have availability for the nice ocean cottage. Do I grab it or is there anywhere else?
The Caves looks nice but way too pricey!
Is Xtabi still nice or is it now run down? I am hoping it's still nice.
I really wanted to stay at Catcha or Tensing but it doesn't look like it will work out. :(
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
We met a couple last April @ SamSara who were on their honeymoon, they loved their pillar house :) Plus, having the Free beach shuttle saved them a few bucks for dinners out, tours, shopping, etc....
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
Try The Rockhouse! You won't be disappointed!
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
Catcha is my favorite but under the circumstances, I suggest Rockhouse or The Spa Retreat.
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
Ya might try Le Mirage on the cliffs...sister property on beach Charlea. No bar, but really nice big rooms with TV, Air, small frig, coffee pot, etc and a new infinity pool. Also, free rides to sister property to enjoy the beach. Depends on what you want...but if you want some privacy, etc and low key, this might work for you at a reasonable price. Check out their website. It has been several years since I have been there but even then (before all the new rooms and pool) it was quite enjoyable.
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
I just got back from JA. My wife and I stayed at The Spa Retreat. It is super nice and the resturant may be the best in Negril. Catcha is a great place as well, stayed there many times. Catcha is a bit more rustic than Spa Retreat. It would really depend on your budget.
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
to answer your question, no, Xtabi is not run down. I visited in June as I often do and the place is as kriss as always.
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
Xtabi is still nice. Very nice in my book. One of my very favorite places.
Re: Need Honeymood West End Advice
