Yes there was 9 in our bunch on the crawl, amongst others and we each tipped $ 10.00 - he certainly worked hard to keep us all on track and show us the hospitality of the West End.

In November I tipped him $20 for the wife and myself.
The couple that were with us tipped him $3. I was pissed at him and when his wife found out she was very pissed as well. (BTW.....he's a lawyer and certainly had more than enough money to tip him well)
In a couple of weeks there will be 10 in our group and I was already planning on tipping him $100 US for our whole group. $10 per person seems about right to me.
Thanks all!
our countdown is 35 days! Irie!
My group from August 2012 tipped $10 - $20 per person (most did $20 each). I would have paid way more if I were back home and had a driver that did a personalized bar crawl AND looked out for your well being the entire time.
It was the a major highlight of our trip and my friends and I are still talking about it. We hope we didn't corrupt anybody with our antics :)
I agree with Irie Always who said "he certainly worked hard to keep us all on track and show us the hospitality of the West End."
I tipped him $20 & felt it was well worth the experience. Looking forward to going again the 1st Wednesday in April!
Just about everyone tips $10, including myself. Oh, and if you forget, Lenbert will definitely remind you! He is a great driver and a great host -- it's a pretty good gig, too, if you can get 25 passengers, that's not a bad return for a few hours work in Negril .... He is friends with Bentley, and I think they might live on the same street up from Pee Wees, as I see Lenbert's bus there sometimes .... The pub crawl gets better and better as Sunset nears ......
We went back to one of the last stops several times before the crawl would pull in. Even funnier to be on the outside looking in. It would be just us and maybe one or two others, no music, just chill'in. Before long the pub crawl would pull up, Bunny Wailer would start blasting and drinks would start flying. The sun would set, the crawl would leave, the music would be turned off and there we would be just us and one or two others listening to the water lap against the cliffs.
A full trip report coming soon.....
Is there a link or FAQ for this pub crawl? How much is it, how many bars does it go to, how long at each bar, what time does it start, etc....
We had our pub crawl cut short once. I won't mention any names as he is a frequent contributor on this board, but one of the participants had too much rum. Or was it too much cake from C&D? Oh yeah, it was a combination of both. He passed out and fell off his bar stool just after sunset. I didn't see it, but it sounded like he hit his head. His wife screaming "OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!!" over and over again. We ended up taking him home and skipped the last two stops. It was fun, but remember to pace yourselves folks. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
