I would LOVE that!

My first trip to JA in 1982 (3?) was a charter that left YWG at midnight and had an open bar. After a brief fuel stop in MIA (we got to walk the tarmac) and some "fun" air turbulence, we descended into a glorious sunrise over Jamaica and Negril! What a sight! It was a fuzzy morning waiting for a room at seawind, but a great experience.
Aaah, the old days....daze? :)

PHL Airport: The bag weighs 51 lbs on their scale (it weighed 50 or less at home). The ticketing agents make us open our bag and take out 1 lb of clothes, or pay an extra $50.
MBJ Airport: The bag comes to 52 lbs on their scale. No problem, mon! Good nuff! and they put bag on the conveyor without a hassle.
Air jamaica used to put an elephant sticker on the overweight bags. One year, to alleviate this, I purchased luggage for my wife that had elephants all over it. I figured it made life easier, she was not amused.
