Great report so far, lady!! We finally got home about midnight last night. We were able to make our connection and get rebooked back on our original flight. It's about 30 here now. Give me a couple days and I'll get my report started. :)

On my final day I spent the day at the beach and went back to my favorite restaurant Swordfish. I had the Shrimp Linguini which was absolutely to die for. I loved their Lobster Macaroni and cheese ... this was even better!! This is my fav restaurant hands down, take everybodys recommendations and try it you will not be sorry.
This is the view from the balcony looking into the water. Its so clear you can watch the fish swimming in the water.

I am so happy that I got to visit the cliffs this trip. I had only been there once before while on a Catamaran sunset cruise that went to Ricks Cafe. If you have not been to the cliffs area you are missing out on an incredible experience. I am a beach person, I just love to swim and love walking into the water on sand, but would consider staying on the cliffs for a few days before going to the beach and would def like to go to the Cliffs most nights for dinners, they have amazing restaurants up there.

So I was all packed up and handed in my towel, said my goodbyes and left a few things with the locals I made friends with. I was very lucky to have met Jenn and Brian from the Board, they are a fabulous couple and had quite a few laughs with them.
Max from Luxurious picked me up exactly on time and I arrived early with lots of time to look around the Airport and did the Club Mobay for departure. I really enjoyed this, they make a delicious Strawberry Mango Dacquiri with coconut rum.... YUMMY! They had soup, small patties, sandwiches, chips, cookies and sushi. But the drink...wow, I had 2 and would have had more of these... one of the nicest drinks I have ever had.

I went to the duty free and picked up a nice bottle of Scotch, Cadbury chocolate and a few t-shirts so finished souvenirs for everybody on my list. Sat in the lounge and used the wifi. There are 3 different rooms one for families, one with music and the one at the far end was quiet and seemed to be nicer inside. They really pay attention to detail there and its a nice experience, so much nicer than sitting in the regular seating area.

Our plane was delayed for almost an hour for take-off, something to do with MBJ requiring 10 minutes between take offs so we were number 6. Anyway we waited on the plane and off we went.

I had 10 wonderful days and hopefully can do 2 weeks next year. The very long wait was worth it... I just love Negril :cool:

Sounds like a really great vacation. I am sorry I didn't see you on the beach. I arrived sick eventually having to go to the Dr. I felt so crappy I didn't move anywhere. Today is last day if antibiotics so hoping to get out there soon. I really was interested in Swordfish for the lobster Mac n cheese. Now I am going for sure!!!
Oh Lady Jane, I'm sorry you have not been well and that we didn't get to meet. Yes go to Swordfish, it was a toss up which I liked best the Lobster mac n cheese or the shrimp linguini... both excellent, you won't go just once :)Quote:
