OMG Groove...............Dirty Dancing, and sweating~~ LOL having a GREAT time!! Wish we had been there!
Wow......the pictures I've been hearing so much about finally surface. (on here anyway)
Looks like we missed a pretty crazy party. It was Ot, Ot, Ot!
That's why I keep a sort of photo log if not I would not remember what happened, when, which day ,by the time I get home!
I did, but the iphone I was using **** the bed on me, and a ton of my pics are on it.
Monday.
We went to red dragon for a couple hours, then we went to Miss Colletes. Afterward we walked through red ground and down to Canoe, and Natural Mystic Bar. If Red Dragon is my #1 favorite bar that's not located on the beach, Natural Mystic Bar is #2. I really enjoy it there. My mom met us there and we walked up to Skybar, then to C & D. Where I bought a cake and the night took a turn. We went to Eddies and had some dinner there. I was really tore up on the brownie, so we decided to call it a night. I dont know if it was early or late. The next thing I knew "Good Morning America" was on.
You might recognize same famous boardies in a few pics to follow.

That was a fun night.
Tuesday.
I think for Tuesday, I agreed to meet up with Groove and his wife at RoyMon's place at rooms around 1:00.
We didnt make it quite all the way to rooms. As everyone who remotely knew each other seemed to all be gathered at Sunnyside. Including groove and RoyMon.
Rob and Lisa were there, Gary steph and everyone who was staying at Xtabi were there. And others. Trying to remember as best I can.
A lot of us decided to go to the Webcast at 3 dives. I was fully down, because I love their chicken.
I called a friend of Rob's who drove us all around for my 30th bday in January to pick us up. His name is Champion, and he is a pretty good driver. He has a van with a cool sound systems.
He picked all of us up at Travellers and we stopped to pick up Beebeluv as well.
We had a good time, lots of drinks. We ended up going with Rob and Lisa to Eddies afterward, then to No Limit. On the way to Eddies I led everyone in the singing of the Canadian National Anthem. It was awesome..... I can get us through the next day....because I believe we made plans to see Rob and Lisa at Red Dragon the following day. Which I remember a good portion of the details from.
Champion dropped us off at Corner Bar
We had some drinks.. We trecked up to travellers. Then went to Errols. Now I am not too certain if this was a Bourbon beach night or not. If it was.. They had a Michael Jackson Impersonator and fire dancer. It was a good show.
Groove, Roy? This make sense?
Cant find pics of this day so...

soounds pretty close, bruh!!!!i am about to catch up, and i have many pics from our crawls....
Sounds about right to me. Bourbon beach was our last stop , it was funny when the MC for bourbon thought we were all Canadians when I think outa the 10 of us only Ginger and I were. LOL Must have been the canadian anthem singing going on.
As planned the night prior. This was to be a Red Dragon day. We walked up to Red Dragon, had a quick drink at Collettes on the way. We hung out at Red Dragon for a pretty good amount of time. Rob and Lisa arrived and helped us make a new friend. an expat who lives in Negril, and an absolute riot to talk to.
Rob was helping a local hotel work on some IT issues, and he needed to leave to help do that. I decided to invite myself it ride Shotgun. We stopped at Yellows Computer Store on the way to pick up a desktop that was being worked on for the hotel. The store was pretty nice, and it seemed just as modern as any store you'd come across in the states.
We arrived at the hotel, and Rob went to work and I went to the bar, and got us some beers. I used this opportunity to log on to the wifi. After about an hour or so, Rob was satisfied that the issues that he could deal with were solved, so we went back to Red Ground. We were flagged down by Lisa and Jackie, who were at Collettes bar.
This being Wednesday, it was a Flyers night so they drove us up to the Sea Star. GerryG was there and invited Jackie and I to go to the bluehole at roaring river the next day. We agreed to go.
After the game, we all went down to Travellers, where we met up with Roy, Ginger, Groove, Janet 2 girls from Minnesota and???? Not sure. We went to Errols for a bit, then we went to Bourbon for a bit. Bourbon was not quite as good as the previous night. Gerry and Carlie met up with us for a little while towards the end of the night.
Pics below.
LOL , Looks like you and your sister dancing !!! NP Flip.
That looks like a fun time.
Flip, thanks for the virtual romp around Negril, glad you guys had fun
No problem!
Not sure what day this is, so I will call it "The next day"
I was feeling like complete dog ****. Probably a weeks worth of drinking catching up with me, and a late night, the night before.
We are to go with GerryG, Charlie, Chickster, Groove and Janet to the Blue Hole at roaring river.
I tried to back out, but Janet guilt tripped me into going. So we went. Let me tell you something. Crammed into the back of a car with ganja smoke filling the air and feeling like dog **** does not mix. I was not much in the way of good conversation to anyone. I was in a miserable mood. Bad form here, and I feel bad if anyone expected the "Fun Flip".. because I certainly was not.
On the way, we see an ambulance tipped on its side.
After what seems like 2 hours we get to the place. We pick up a guide and we head back. The area was under new ownership, under construction and technically closed. GerryG negotiated us about 45 minutes to hang out. The Blue Hole was pretty damn spectacular looking. I must admit. There was some awesome fish. We also had an amazing view of the mountain side. This was definitely a great payoff.
I would love to make this trip again with Jackie and another couple at some point. It's a perfect date spot. Good on Gerry for showing us.
On the way out we stopped at a local road side place to eat. We each order a plate. They were huge. I couldnt eat all of mine. I still had the sweats as well. However, it did taste great, I just wasnt feeling well.
The total bill with tip for the 8 of us. 7 tourists and a driver came out to be something around 30 bucks?
Wow.
Anyway - we get back to the hotel and I went straight to bed. This was about 2 or 3 pm. I woke up around 5 or 6 and we went to grab a quick bite and it was back to sleep for me. I had about 12 hours of sleep that night.
Hey Flip, what a trooper you were that day. If that was me feeling like you did there would not be enough guilt in the world that would have made me make that trip. it would have helped having a larger vehicle. That water was ICE cold I'm sure that would have woken you up, it did for me. I didn't see "little Elvis" for 2 days after that swim.
I wonder if ambulance ever got fixed and put back into service.
I was afraid I was going to **** myself all day lol. Jumping in ice cold water, not sure if that would have helped or hut, bu tI wasn't going to take a chance!
My reaction to seeing a girl say that

Flip & Chickster
I have to say this now since both of u mentioned we were crammed in and the size of the vehicle. Hope I don't offend anyone but sometimes I tell it like it is.
It was not Gerry's fault due to we had 2 more people than he thought were going. I felt a little sorry for Shane that day because he put Groove and Jackie in the far back seat and he said I need another small one back here. I looked around (including myself), Flip, Gerry, Charlie and Chickster. I said Shane we don't have anymore small ones unless YOU are going to sit back there and let one of us drive. He put me back there but I am a slightly claustrophobic and barely made it from from Travellers to the roundabout without crawling over the seat and getting out of vehicle. Thanks Flip for trading places with me. Someone said that day (of course I don't remember who) when u are arranging a taxi in addition to telling the driver how many people u may want to include the SIZE of the people. I thought this was so FUNNY!
I don't think I really knew how bad u felt that day. I owe u an extra special wedding gift. Thanks again for going because if I had not made that trip I would have been there 2 weeks with no day trips at all. I never even made it to Rhodes Hall or Half Moon.
It ended up being a beautiful place and we managed fine on the ride. I remember we had to pick up our tour guide at the entrance so we had 9 people in that vehicle.
This sounds like fun. (for most of you) ;)
Did you say you were going down again for thanksgiving? Just a thought but we would be up for this.Quote:
I would love to make this trip again with Jackie and another couple at some point. It's a perfect date spot.
Working on the thanksgiving details. Not 100% sure yet.
So the next day would be Friday? I have no effin clue what we did this day? Think we went on a walk up to tree house and did some wedding scouting on the way. I think this day we met up with Big Shiny and Mango, they showed us around their place at Crystal Waters. I went over to Tree House to confirm Jackie's parents reservations. They were coming in the the next day.
After all of that. Big Shiny, Mango, Jackie and I did a little bar crawl down the beach. We ended up at Drifters for the music. Groove, Janet, Rob, Lisa - The Son and Daughter in law of the couple who went out for my 30th and some others were all there. We had an awesome time. After the show we went back to the hotel I think. Jackie and I decided that calling it an early evening was probably the best since, we had a big day with her parents ahead.
I will check to see if I have some pics, I might actually.
