Wednesday is our day we take the One Love Pub Crawl with Lenbert Williams...If u have never taken this trip, i highly recommend it...We do our routine for morning, and are ready to go when our 230 pickup time gets here....we wait by the road for a few minutes unitl he arrives...

the bus was packed when we got on...we were greeted by several friends, and the party was on....due to people bringing unscheduled friends, lenbert had a few others to pick up..so he was running a double bus today...meaning he was dropping us off at the first stop and going back to pick up a few more...then he would make 2 trips to each bar...it would be interesting...i have been on so many crawls, i decided i was gonna ride the bus with both groups...got several videos of the bus rides...lol
anyway the first stop was at Sunset after dark...

at this point lenbert wanted to load all on one bus to go to seastar, then he could take a load down while the others waited...well we did it...

we party at xtabi for a couple of hours....then shane drives us back home to legends....we venture out for some food, and get step a side barrel chicken...we bypass about 10 other barrels to get to marshall...he has never let me down, always moist and uuummm so good....thought i had pics, but they didnt come oout...
we take it back and sit on our veranda, light our candles, eat, have a night cap while we listen to the music coming from bourbon beach...after a bit, everything goes black...power outage.....after a few minutes, wwe lights come on in a few places that have generators...we did..but no a/c, just ceiling fan...lasted a couple hours, i guess....

My boy Flipadelphia left connies to go watch some game involving the cowboys and the eagles....he heads to natural mystic bar...I hang with everyone for a little longer and I walk down to watch it with him..i had never been to this bar, so i was interested in hanging htere....
Natural Mystic Bar is a small but pretty cool place...it is owned by Susan, and the beer is cold...a couple other guys watching the game with Flip when i get there...

after we close down bourbon, Janet was hungry, she didnt eat thaksgiving dinner with the rest of us...roy said he could eat..so janet roy and sheri walk to step a side for chicken..i go to the room...i havent really been feeling good for the last several hours...really since natural mystic, although i didnt let on...tried my best to keep the party started....so i go to bed...
The party never stopped that week,a great time with good people who just love to have fun!!

thursday evening I started feeling a scratchy throat and runny nose....we always bring a little of everything, so i took an antibotic and huge swig of nyquil before i crashed...we have been partying until wee hours of morning and waking up fairly early every morning....well i slept until 1215 friday...took it as i was exhausted from lack of rest....got up, tried to smoke and after a couple tokes, put it back down..that's when janet knew i was sick...Shanna from Legends walked by and said to go to the store and told her what to get me...anyway, i was sore like i had played softball all day, and then hot, cold, hot cold...after i insisted janet go have fun with roy and sheri (no need of her being miserable with me) they head out to drifters at about 230...i couldnt stand it anymore, about 330pm i head that way...Big shiney and mango arrived yesterday, and were supposed to join us at drifters today, so i had to go.....no food all day, figured dirty banana would help...so i got my 2 and continued to drifters...the gang all welcomed me, and it was on....for about 20 minutes....lol...it was raining off and on, and it started raining when the first of many feelings hit me..up came the dirty bananas...i was able to slip off to the side, unnoticed...but i told janet i was out, and just as fast as i appeared, i disappeared...walked back to legends in the rain....got to the room, undressed and jumped under the covers...i remember janet checking on me, remember her telling me bill and donna walked her back to legends and everyone was going to a party....i remember waking up at about 9 am the next day......
now, saturday i was still sick, but it was my last day, so i took all the cold stuff i could find, ate eggs for breakfast, soup for lunch....and although i was out of it for the most part, i forced myself to go out..caught a second wind at seastar for awhile, but was weak and out of it all day...
sunday i was sick on the fide home, monday took off work and got a lot of heat for taking off on the 1st day back....2 weeks later, i was just gettin over it...what caught my attention, though was that i had knee surgery 20 years ago...well a couple days after being back, i could not walk on that leg for about 3 days...didnt have any noticable pain in any other joints but i read robs post about old injurys and it made me think that i may have caught the virus...didnt go to the doc and i feel better...but i guess it could be...
anyway, i will finish up the last 2 days of my report...
as mentioned, friday is a great day at drifters....

these 2 people, billndonna, have joined the list of "friends for life"...friends that we met in negril and are a special bunch of folks...we were able to reunite with about a dozen or so oldfriends, and added these 2 to the list......(we have already spent the weekend with them since this thanksgiving trip) we have 20-30 more that we hope to see again soon...
