I had a bad experience with a dry socket after a wisdom tooth extraction. Much pain and much infection set in. You might want to be proactive and insist the doc gives you an antibiotic prescription and some pain meds. It would suck to have issues in Negril.Quote:

An antibiotic prescription is a very good idea! A good probiotic is also good. Keeps the gut happy. :rolleyes: I had the first phase of a implant done last week and don't want any problems in JA next week. Rather be sitting at a rum bar up in Orange Hill sporting a big fatty than looking for a dentist in Jammy Land..
Yeah its why I went in this week I didn't want to chance that there would be any troubles while on vacation. I am pretty fast healer so I am hoping this goes the same. I didn't get dry socket with the first one that was pulled so here's hoping I'm lucky again. Knock on wood!
Glad you're feeling better and it sounds like you are well on your way to a fast healing. I'm now in single digit fidget and I can't wait to get there! See you in 8 days!

That's good Mr. B....I really do enjoy staying there....its like a second home now we have stayed there so much. This is my last day of work and then I have a laundry/packing day on Friday. We have an early start on Saturday as we have to be at the airport at like 4:30AM.....soon come though! :)
9 more days and we'll return to our Seastar family.
