Great pictures , I got a real nice Chiefs flag for Flag City in a couple of weeks ( if we get to go, of course last minute medical is popping up). Pasta looked incredible.
Go Bills!!!
Great report. Great pics. The food pics have me craving some of that wonderful Jamaican cooking. So damn good!! Thank you!
Loving the reports and the pictures! Getting me so stoked for our trip in May.
Not loving the Bills flag though....might have to bring down my 6x Patriots Super Bowl Flag lol
Envy is a beautiful thing!!! LMAO
Quote from Wikipedia regarding the Buffalo Bills:
The rise of the division rival New England Patriots under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, along with numerous failed attempts at rebuilding in the 2000s and 2010s, helped prevent the Bills from reaching the playoffs in seventeen consecutive seasons between 2000 and 2016, a 17-year drought that was the longest active playoff drought in all major professional sports at the time.

Well the last couple of days were slow and relaxing on the beach, staying close to the hotel. But I decided to finish the trip dining at LTU last night. So after getting dropped off, I took advantage of the 4-4-10 red stripe mini bottle special when I arrived. After a couple, I ordered the bruschetta to start, having the schnitzel as my main course and then finishing with a slice of key lime pie. Then as I waited for my guy, Barry, to pick me up, I ordered one of their dirty bananas to wash it all down. Got back and called it a night (and a trip).
Great pics and sounds like a great trip also , thanks for letting us tag along.
Enjoyed your report & pics ~ Thanks for sharing ~~

As a post mortem, I did want to also comment on how the water supply issue in Negril affected my stay. Being a small place, Caribbean Delight had small water tanks, so because of the low flow they received, they constantly had to shut their water pumps on and off. Most nights there was no water flowing (had to get used to not flushing the toilet and buying some large water bottles for either filling the toilet or freshening up, sometimes the water was even off when I wanted to shower before dinner). When they had the pumps on the pressure was great. I understand that these inconveniences are nothing compared to what the people on the West End are going through but I can also see how this would turn some tourists off in the future (I'll always be back to Negril staying at a boutique hotel!!).
The water situation at CD wasn't too bad when we were there March/April. Almost every night water would be a trickle but enough to flush the toilet but not enough to shower. During the day pressure was pretty good. A few days we had no water at all but for just a few hours. For years almost every trip either the power goes out or the water sometimes both. The water problem was definitely worse our last trip.
By the way Jerry many thanks for your daily reports and pics. I was really missing Negril so it helped seeing my home away from home. It's going to be a long 7 months until my next reach.
