Dear Mr President (not elect because I abdicated),
The duties of the office are pretty much the same as they are for membership. Stay smooth and travel internationally. You get all the privileges, entitlements, income, outcome, honors, etc, etc, etc that you can possibly imagine. Seriously, whatever you imagine bacause . . .well, the truth of the matter is there aren't any! Can you hear it? R-E-S-P-E-C-T Aretha is sounding great and lookin' good, slimmer and that hat HooooWeee!
Don't forget that your members are counting on you to find a smooth successor when you get around to it. Who are the other members of the Smooth Headed International Travelers? We're pretty easy to spot (except in cold weather) and we travel internationally. Only those who have followed this thread will recognize your ascension to the presidency so don't be shy about introducing yourself. We're more likely to believe that you really are the president of our far flung global diaspora if you buy us a drink. (Psssst! Jim, keep an eye out in April.)
