I cant wait to see the december version of "the Brasi letters" Good Move!!!!!!!
The letter is a hoot! Very clever.
That’s our menu every week LOL
How do you think we put money in our “Irie Box” for our trips to Jamaica?
I love those letters to the fuel company, US Airways and Red Stripe, I’m quite certain they will work ;)
LOL – awesome Booger!
Looks like you’re good to go, Brasi:D
We look forward to seeing you in April - haha!
Forget Gerryg being a lawyer, Brasi with those letters I think you beat him to it.
Hoho!
The letters lol those made my day. It funny to see everyone go through the exact same wave of emotions upon their return. I can see the issue you face here Bras-eye :P I think that spending an extended time in December/January is the most sound idea. BUT I greatly agree with everyone when they say keep your eye out for last minute decisions for April. See I have planned to spend some time in Europe this fall although it was a hard decision because I truely miss Jamaica I haven't been anywhere over the "pond" so I have decided that each birthday as kicked off by my Jamaica trip I will tackle a place I've never been. With that being said .. I have to find a way to fit Jamaica in at least once this year.. I have also just heard that Andre was robbed in Kingston last week so even more so I want to return. I think you and I Bras-eye should keep our eyes open for each other so that we can BOTH get there in April and hopefully at the same time .. :) Actually, I have a co worker who just bought a house in Tralawny she has offered to let me rent it .. when I'm not sure but she's going in March, you of coarse could stay with me and we'll travel down to Negril :) OR if that is a wash... and money is too tight .. we can room up 2 beds split cost and you can put a sock on the door if need be for privacy lol I'm a night owl anyways :)
LOL Booger!
Who said I"m not a Virgin from the country ?? LOL :D
You guys are funny .. I want to go badly I'm not sure I could do it on my own especially saving for Ireland/Scotland so it's economical .. get your minds out of the gutter! lol
Manda, if we do stay in a room together, I think we'd be better served to use one bed for clothing and our suitcases...and sleep in the other.
Putting that stuff on the floor will open us up to all kinds of ants and bugs. Plus, it's chilly in Jamaica in April, like, it gets down to 78 degress. We'd simply be a likkle warmer if we shared a bed.
As usual, I'm just looking out for YOU, Manda. :o
teeeheee
(how am I doing Patty?! Tic?!)
:D:D Solid Effort
OMG what have a started lol
Brasi your concern for my well being is quite generous and even more so because you must know the enveloping fear of insects I have in order to give up your bed so as not to have bugs in my clothes. What a gentleman.. however, I am like a furnace when I sleep I fear that might be to warm for you and really I am only thinking of YOU .. with that said the tub or cold bathroom floor might be a more suitable place?? :o
No I meant paying for a trip on my own hahahaha If I'm splitting the cost of a room it would help the odds of being able to make it down. I'm no longer worried about solo travel.. thanks to ALL of you wonderful people. I am now planning a solo trip to both Scotland/Ireland for my birthday :)
LOL, I know, sorry I was just teasing you
Besides, it seems Brasi is more than willing to "help you out" by sharing a bed....ur, I mean room....so I don't see any reason you couldn't come party with us all in April!
That is MY thinking anyway! :)
I'm just doing my part to help someone out.
I'm here for ya Manda LOL
this Manda/Brasi theme is a slow burning fire playing out on Negril.com--first witnessed with Brasi's comments on Manda's trip report way back when.
LOL!
This is too funny!
Manda - Have a nice time in Scotland/Ireland for your B-day.
Hope we see you & the smooth operator in April!;)
It would be so great to meet you guys!
Brasi, I agree with all of you, particularly the escape winter part .... HOWEVER, we did Jam last June and it was AWESOME. It's off season, and there are few tourists, and everyone has time for you. Everyone! You really get to know people and get a feel for life in our beloved Jamaica! It's hot. Stinking hot. But just amazing! I would highly recommend June/July. If you do go, pack light. Bigger, looser clothes than you would wear on the hottest day up here. Worth the trip! Even the vegetation is different - 99.9% of all plant life blooms there, for crying out loud! Those gorgeous trees that are so lovely and green in Jan/Feb have freakin' amazing flaming red blooms in summer! I mean, scrubby, crappy weedy things you don't think twice about in winter are amazing to see in summer. My vote: Give June a shot. You'll not regret it. P.S. it was amazing enough that we are going again this year end of June beg of July. Try it.
Thanks M&G...it's cool to get that perspective. I will definitely take that in as part of my decision. I don't hear much about summer reaches...
And now...predictable...but hey. It's mofookin classic...and I'll wear the damn suit and sweater vest.............................at my photo-shoot!
In a tub, on a boat, in a moat, with some weed, in a tree...lol...ohhh Mandy!
I thought I was helping YOU out Brasi by offering to soften the expenses lol how did this turn around on me lol
My mother would kill you if she heard you call me Mandy though lol Try Boston's Amanda haha
Marley - I know you were teasing :) And it would be amazing to meet everyone at one time especially after speaking on and off with you all for what feels like a long enough time to feel like I know you all.
Clarity - I would absolutely love to meet you and maybe we could start that screen play haha
If I'm tented on a piece of beach some where or driving in from Trelawny or sitting outside a room that has a sock hanging on the door knob for the better part of a night I will somehow some way make it in April :)
Manda: I can definitely sock it to ya, no problem hahahahabhahahahaha
Sorry that was fresh.
whoa! Easssy Tiger
Negril is awesome in June! That's the only time we ever go. Yes, it is hot (not so much to us because we live in the Deep South along the Gulf), but I like it. The water is so nice and it's not crowded at all.
