The first time we took our daughters to Negril they were 21 and almost 18. I had told them that quite a few places on the cliffs were either topless or clothing optional. My youngest said: I could NEVER do that! But right after jumping from the cliffs at the Rock Cliff hotel she took off her bikini top which was followed very soon by her bikini bottom. We all tossed the items up to our non-swimmer friend on the cliffs. It was the most amazing experience! BTW, I'm German as well. :) AND it was in broad daylight. :D
There is that small place next to Sunbeach that has nude bathing.
If some guy in the water asks for help removing a remora you may want to check for a suit first.

Back in the day when Bloody Bay was undeveloped, that is where we skinny dipped. Alas, everything is developed today,

Bloody Bay, before the Riu resorts were there, was a magical place. Just the little party spot on the south end and nothing to the north. Very few people. Walk up the beach until no one was around and snorkel naked all day. Real freedom......................

There used to be (< '90s) a very long stretch of wild beach south of Cosmo's (now Beaches and other all inc.) that naturists frequented. It was a very pleasant place to spend a few hours sunbathing and swiming, especially at sunset.

Last summer, there was a shark sighting off the cliffs, the video went viral. I don't know about getting eaten, but there are a number of predators who are more active and near the surface at night. Lion fish included... You might want to think twice about jumping into dark water "unprotected."Quote:

I skinny dip every morning in Negril.......the warm water from the shower is just right!
Have done it in the ocean in front of Couples and in front of SATP's beach. Couples was the best. They have a nude hottub and nude bar. Complete nudity only. I love their nudes area. We would take the floats out and float nude during the daytime...
Once you experience the sans-clothing freedom....you will be hooked!
