I will be there the last week of November just have to find the best deal as it looks like I'm going solo. OMG I am so excited to be going back to my favorite neighbourhood!!
Unfortunately, the Begley's will not be going in November now. Sunwing cancelled all of the November flights to Jamaica. While they offered to book us with another carrier and cover the difference in price, they also offered us free tickets to fly into Mexico. All we had to pay was $200 in taxes. That meant over a $600 refund. Unfortuntely, that means we are going to be trying a new place this year. We will miss seeing everyone in Negril and hope to be back next year. :)

Begels, that stinks that Sunwing cancelled your flights. We went to Mexico last winter to "try something new" and let me tell you, as beautiful as it was, I missed Negril each and every day! A big up to Sunwing though for giving you those great options!

Melody, I downloaded the android version of the app last week when I saw your post. I have my flights and accommodations all loaded inn. Nov 28-Dec 8 - 3 nights at Blue Cave Castle, 3 at Catcha then down to the beach to CocoLaPalm for the last 4. Great tip on the travel documents and credit card info too. I would have never thought of that and being able to access that info from any computer could come in really handy. Here's hoping I don't need it!
Yup, hope we don't need all that emergency info, but how convenient this makes it if ever needed.
I also copy and paste in as a note my hotel email confirmation. Mind you I save those things also in a designated email folder. Plus I print the confirmation and have it handy to show at the airport - I was asked for it on my last trip.
My last trip, I used the free 30 day tripit pro upgrade and set a reminder to cancel before the 30 days. It was nice, but I don't travel enough to make it worthwhile. The really important stuff is available free - there are free flight alerts/tracking apps to get that sort of info.

Hey everyone!! Can you believe this is my first post on the new board, but I read it everyday... okay sometimes many times a day!! Anyways, my hubby and I will be in Negril in November. It started out as a trip to get away, maybe somewhere new after many trips to Jamaica... LOL...
Not!!! We love Negril and this time we are going without kids, friends or family. Just us. I'm so excited!! Nov 7 - 23. Catcha for 4 nights, Couples Swept Away for 4 nights, and the Coco for the rest. We won an auction supporting Animal House in Jamaica for the nights at Couples Swept Away. Stayed there once before on our very first trip to Negril. Then our hearts were stolen and we have been addicted ever since. This will be our 6th trip since 2008....
Hopefully we will see some boardies during our stay... Finally going to make it to the drummers at Sea Star, and would love to check out the Bus Crawl... Sounds like fun!!!
