Hi Ben.
Thanks for your concern. I dont think that Sandy is such a bad girl, her name is too sweet.
It is sunny at the moment where I am in Negril, we should be safe after she passes through.
Regards,
Rocky.
Current is off...winds picking up again...intermittent rain still.
KINGSTON, Jamaica - Several communities in the north east parish of St Mary are reporting heavy rain, strong wind and mudslides Wednesday, as Category One Hurricane Sandy continues to unleash its fury.
Gusts all over Westmoreland and current is off from Sav to Black River to Bluefields Bay to Treasure Island, etc.

I just talked to my son. He's on the beach in Negril. Not too bad so far.
The latest model looks pretty good for the West side of the island.
One more little jog to the East will put Kingston on the navigable side.

We are on the cliffs - windy but very light to no rain at all.
Our wifi at Catcha is still up and running...
Thanks for keeping us updated! When I saw that the webcam was down at Ricks...I started to worry again. Many blessing sent to all and may the folks on the east side of the island have our prayers. Hopefully, it will pass on before more damage is done. Jah protect all of our friends and loved ones in ALL of Jamaica.
