I keep going back to "Stir it up" - (the 1974 version more so than 1967 version). Look for the version performed by the Wailers on the Old Grey Whistle Test, when Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer were still in the band. The Moog synth is incredible and Family Man is on fire with bass.
Give Thanks for Bob Marley, and all the singers and players of instruments! His music changed my life from average american suburban white chick to Fully Royal Empress. Much love for all of his music and sing it every day, along with Jimmy Cliff, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs. I love Steel Pulse and Third World as well. Also love "newer" artists Luciano and Tarrus Riley, Morgan Heritage. Big up all conscious artists!
War
No More Trouble
There is a live version where the two songs segue into one another. My fav.
Smile Jamaica
Don't rock my boat (cause I don't want my boat to be rockin)
Favorite Bob Marley song - Is This Love?
Favorite reggae artist - Sugar Minott
"So much trouble in the world" How appropriate is that right now?
another favorite: Iron Lion Zion, soon come
I like the old stuff. Stop the Train is my favorite. I may get killed for this but I thought Peter Tosh's voice was much better.
Iron Lion Zion
Waiting in vain...and the don't worry song "three little birds"...
