It's finally official for us too. Getting in on 11/12/13 for a week on the best beach on the planet. Bringing a couple newbies this time so this one should be interesting. Seeing as how we haven't had a summer yet here in Wisconsin we are REALLY ready for some fun in the sun! CAN'T WAIT!!
Finally had enough miles for the tickets, which means we can afford to stay longer! Arriving Nov 23 for two weeks. First 4 days at Catcha then up the lane to Seastar - how awesome was that Facebook special!!! - then we are going to try our first ever AI, starting small at Grand Pineapple for 3 nights. I suspect we will always split our stay between the beach and cliffs, but we seem to be leaning towards the cliffs. First trip was a week on the beach. Second trip was 10 days, with 4 days on the beach. Third time we are in for two weeks with only 3 days on the beach.
I love late November in Negril. Not to crowded, but most everything opened up again. Lots of fresh paint going up for the coming season. Soon come, sweet Jamaica...

CN49,we are going to Seastar on the 30th for the show,maybe even run into each other elsewhere on the cliffs!!

I'm using a daisy path ticker now. I clicked on the forum link option and copied the UBB/BB code and deleted the URL part. The beginning and end of it look like this:

Then went to my profile here, edit signature, and pasted. Click preview signature and you should see it. Then click save.

I'm a newbie! So excited! I'll be at Grand Pineapple Nov 7 - 13! 76 days, 15 hours, 45 mins.... lol
I have a million questions but I'll try reading some if the threads first.
Technically we'll be there in November - we're Oct 25-Nov 2 lol. The way our trips fall (end of the month), we're actually there in October, November, December & January! LOL Trust me, it sounds MUCH better than it is :cool:
So happy that I can finally post on this thread. You see I have known about our late November trip since April, but it is a surprise trip for my wife and I didn't tell her about it until last Friday, so I couldn't post it here (she's a lurker, you know). Now that I told her I am happy to post that we will be at Rondel Village for 6 nights starting November 29 and then we are moving to Catcha to spend the last 2 nights of our trip there. We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary and our 20th trip to Jamaica. Can't wait, we are down to double digits already!!!

Hello everyone, a newb here. Bring kids (6 and 9 ) for first time in November. Thinking of Nirvava because of small well secured yard. Dates not firm yet but still can't wait!!
Are we sure it isn't high season? You'd never guess by the all the boardies heading down. I think November is the best month to visit (ok, I've never been any other time, but its just so awesome); looks like I'm not the only one that feels that way.
As of today, all of us are into the double digits! How exciting is that :cool: It occurred to me this morning that it must mean that winter is starting to lurk just around the corner (at least for us northern dwellers). Somehow that isn't so frightening with Negril on my horizon.
I think I've got everyone :)

Anyone planning on heading to Jerkfest on the 24? This is the first year we will be there, we've always just missed it.
We went to the Jerkfest last year and had a great time,hate to miss it this year but we get into Hedo on the 22nd for 5 days and hate to leave that party to many times.We are going to hit Red Dragon that next day(Monday the 25th)for some great jerk pork,ice cold beers and great people and laughter!!
wifey and I will be there for sure... Charly Black last year... hoping some suttin good this year!!!
