Hi guys, I am so glad I found this website :)
I am a female traveling solo. Everything is booked for February 6-13 with Merril's 1. I wanted to stay at Rooms, but they didnt have any more rooms available. I have been doing an extensive research on "females traveling solo" and I am very concerned about the beach vendors. Everyone says females get bugged a lot, especially if they are by themselves. I really wanna go and have a good time, however, having that in the back of my mind and not knowing anyone is making me reconsider my trip :(. Is anyone traveling around those same dates? I would like some suggestions on the best places to meet people and make friends. Thanks a lot!
Don't reconsider...you'll be fine!! The fact of the matter is any female that goes there without a significant other is going to be approached. If u don't want to be bothered just say so firmly but nicely. If you show yourself friendly you won't have any problems meeting people to hang out with. Your location is fabulous so go and have a great time.
Alexia, take a walk to Rooms and look up Momthor or better still PM her. Great lady who knows Negril.

Kevin PA & I will start with 3 days on the beach, and then back to Blue Cave Castle. Feb 11-20
We will be there Feb. 2-15. Second time to Negril - will be staying at our first non A1 - soooo looking forward to this!!! We will be taking the One Love Bus Crawl and definately going to Seastar Saturday Night Reggea.

We will be there Feb 23rd to March 2nd at Xtabi.
Bringing a newbie along also, should be fun!
We are still looking for flights...prices are insane....sorry we will miss you, but have a drink for our Anniversary on the 23th!

Rose 1234, ill be at Negril ,staying at Co Co La Palm, in Feb the same time. I went there as a single female,
and had no problem at all. You can check out my trip report that I wrote , called back again after a long time,
and see how easy it is to get along in Negri on your own. One of the funnest trips I have evr had. Message
