Thanks Groove, I've been enjoying your report as well.
really great photos.
We enjoyed our time at Seasplash. There was one thing lacking however and that was shade trees. The only shade available on the beach was from the shade umbrellas. However, we had discovered early on that the bar was shaded, so we spent considerable time there. The other advantage to the bar on the deck was the great people watching perch that we had. We did of course do a bit of beach walking but nothing very strenuous. We did continue to have our church meetings but by this time we were getting somewhat churched out so decided to revert to safety meetings for the rest of the trip.
A view from the perch.

Great pictures!!
Margaritaville is generally a hub of activity on the beach. I prefer to visit early in the day before the throngs of beachgoers arrive for the day.

Your photos are fabulous!
By this time in the trip sand gravity was taking its toll on us. We took little trips up and down the beach. I had read about the great food at Wild Parrot and twice we walked there for lunch and drinks but both times the place was closed as in all tarped up and there was no one around. So sadly I didn't get to try the Greek Salad or Fish Tacos that I had been looking forward to. These are just some more pictures taken as I strolled the beach.

I'm sorry to drag this little report out so much but sometime life just seems to get in the way. We were enjoying our stay at Seasplash. For us it was almost like visiting a new neighborhood. We were still in Negril and on the same beach but it was a slightly different cast of characters. Our safety meetings were going well and we enjoyed our views from our perch as well as our stolls on the beach. We did visit Country Country for a little tour as we wanted to consider staying there on another visit.

Very nice and well put together. Interesting photos too. Thanks.
I'm sure that everyone who has walked the beach in Negril has experienced the FREE bracelet pitch. This is Tammy when she learned she was getting a FREE ankle bracelet.

If you can't laugh about that,......you must not be ....enough:)
Great pictures.... But the commentary is even better!!! Hilarious!
Our vacation was rapidly coming to an end. We only had one nite left in Negril and then it would be back home to reality. At our afternoon safety meeting we discussed where we would like to eat for our 'Last Supper.' I suggested going to 3Dives as I wanted Brown Stew Chicken and recalled I had eaten it there before and it was very good. Just before heading out for 3 Dives, my partner Cathy decided she wasn't feeling well and would just stay at Seasplash. So the three of us headed out for a great meal.

We heard the steam whistle and knew the peanut guy was here. I always wonder what type of hearing loss the peanut guy will develop from listening to that whistle over the years, but the peanuts are excellent and I knew I should have bought several bags.

Such fun - you are an total joy to read and your photos are absolutely stunning! I need to stop lurking around here - I still have 7 weeks before I begin what I have the feeling with be a long love-affair with JA!
Wednesday morning arrived and fortunately we didn't have to rush as our ride to the airport wasn't until 11 AM. We went for our last leisurely breakfast before we had to start the packing ordeal. I took a last stroll around the gardens at Seasplash to see if I could find anything colorful to take a picture of.

Shortly before 11 o'clock our ride pulled into the Seasplash parking lot, punctual as always. Only today we wouldn't be riding with Rocky. Today Wayne would be driving us. Wayne was very pleasant and was happy to chat with us as we travelled the highway. I sat up front as I always enjoy the ride and the sightseeing along the road, even if it is to the airport.

Wayne told me that the taxi driving is a part time gig for him. He also has a bar along the highway close to Lucea. We stopped at the bar just to get a quick picture from the bus. Wayne infomed us there is a deck at the back of the bar overlooking the water. I think it would it would be a great place to meditate. I have already told Rocky we want to stop there next trip on the way to Negril. The bar is the Chill Spot Sports Bar between Grand Pallaidium and Lucea.
