Booger you hit the nail on the head, success in business has a lot to do with attitude, service and honesty. Surround yourself with people of like mind, provide them with stability & a great wage and success will follow. Negativity causes many to fail, it comes out in their ethics and finished product.
With that being said if I won the lottery I would try to become a partner in a successful property and build a big ass place in the ideal waterside location.
If I won the lottery, many of you would never hear from me, or see me again. I would spend the next 20 years exploring every nook and cranny of the rock we live on.
Rather than buy a hotel, I'd buy Tony's Hut and give Grace a big raise.
Booger and Tanfastic, I don't think anyone is being negative. I think they are being realistic.
In the history of this board there have been several boardies that cashed in their chips and headed to the rock with dreams of buying and running a business. Few have succeeded! Some have lost their life savings! Whether it was buying and building a home or buying and running a business or leasing either or, the Rock can be a harsh lesson in chasing your dreams....

Let me daydream guys. I would buy Idle Awhile but just for friends and a few special boardies! On the house!!! Hey I just won the Lottery after all. I would try to steal Some of Gail's staff. Have a private minibus with bar on call. Invite visiting chefs from the best Jamaican restaurants who would prepare fresh fish caught by my private fisherman. The only rule would be no Toronto Maple Leaf fans!!!
