He allows it on the condition that we behave ourselves. So, we entered and there was a couple of ladies set up selling stuff. The brave newbie who instigated this whole thing decides she needs a carved bowl from a vendor at Hedo....lol. (Maybe you had to be there but it was pretty funny). So, after the purchase, we walk thru Hedo and guess what- just a bunch of naked people. I mean ALOT of naked people. We walked thru quietly with our blinder's on. Then, we got to the Point Village au natural beach and the guard asks us if we are residence at the Point. I tell her we are at unit 185. She asks who the manager is and I tell her. She then let us thru. Again, we walked thru with blinders on.......so I am sorry I have nothing I can tell you, other than the security was very good.
I love a story that begins with "we spent a bit of time at Boardwalk drinking"! There generally tends to be quite a few naked people at clothing optional beaches. Was the carved bowl ever found? Or was security to..."tight" ? You just know its going to get good when its Another Alcohol Related Event(A.A.R.E.) If sarcasm is the most sincere form of flattery, please excuse me as its sat night and I am having my own AARE.

Thanks for the report. Stayed there 3 times with our then teenage daughter back in mid 2000's when it was an all-inclusive. Fun times! Paddled by the village last April. Sad to see the old Sunsplash or Sunshine bar/grill (Can't remember the name) in ruins.

Re: Point Village Trip Report
we have only gone once about 2 years ago, and I kid you not, we have total of 5 and it was 2.5 hours before we got our food and one in the group had to wait even longer. we are Jamaica and Negril veterans having over 40 trips under out belts in the past 20 years but this was the worst ever, have not been back since - plenty of places to go
Re: Point Village Trip Report
We stayed at PV back when it was all-inclusive. We aren't the all-inclusive type but the price was too good to pass up and as such that we didn't care if we spent money downtown on food and drinks. $1,500.00 for 4 people in a 2 bedroom for 10 nights (37.50 per person a nights including food, alcohol and beverages for the kids). I thought that was pretty phenomenal. Anyhow, we enjoyed it there even though it was away from things, it was closer to our friends that live in Marchtown so that made it better for us. We did venture through the "nature beach" on through past Hedo (told kids to look at the water) and all the way to Margaritaville. Was a long walk but fun nonetheless. Glad you had a good time and thanks for sharing the pics. Looks really similar to when we were there.
