The one time I was at Pushcart, the food was just ok, the service was lacking and the prices are definitely on the high end. DeBar has great food, as does Ivan's, Hungry Lion, LTU, and Seastar. All offer different experiences, depending on what you are cravin. Its hard to pick a favourite.

For a nice Ital meal I really like Ras Rody's for some Soup and a helping of his veggie/rice/bean special. I have noticed several cab drivers that stop there for soup throughout the day, and like stopping where the truckers stop in the U.S. I go where the cabbies go in Jamaica. As far as the others mentioned above....LOVE em all.

I haven't tried Ivans, 3 dives, or Bentleys yet, but maybe I will this upcoming trip. I tried Seastar inn and pushcart, and love seastar food.

I like Ivans & Sips & Bites... I agree with Cool Shade,,,,after Pushcart was changed from the Captains Cove it became more pricey with less food and turned up nose service, just like the Rockhouse....We were staying at the Riu Trop once and did a day at the Rockhouse. We ate at the restaurant there and the waiter could not have been more nasty.....We ignored it and ate, when we got up to leave he says were going the wrong way.He thought since we had the wristbands on we were not staying there....We said "no,we are staying at the $450 a night room at the point"...........

I do believe one could stay a month on the cliffs, eat at a different place every night and not have one bad meal. Everyone is unique and worth a stop...that is our experience. I can not remember ever having a "bad" meal on the cliffs. Some maybe took longer than we liked, or had smaller portions than others, but bad meals...never!!
