Dave Escapes....P.N.S, Negril, and the Apparent Event Horizon (a trip report)

Man I missed this night by hours as I had to set sail on a big jet plane. I figured for my next reach that I will be there for two Saturdays so that I can take in two shows. Sounds like a great plan to me....

Sorry I missed you and your lovely lady Lorax. Enjoying the trip report and looking forward to the rest.

It was early in the morning on Sunday.
Saturday had been long and late...David was up with the sun.
He was sitting on the bed staring at his sleeping wife...
"AWAKE !
Shake dreams from your hair
My pretty child, my sweet one.
Choose the day and choose the sign of your day
The day's divinity
First thing you see."
"What?" Cindy looked up at him with one eye, the other still pressed into the pillow.
"What was that?"
"Um, that was Jim Morrison".
"Is he here?" asked Cindy...If he's not here don't bother me...what time is it?
"Early" David said. "But we need to get up and do stuff, we're in Jamaica!"
He decided to hop in the shower and let her sleep a little more...

With the previous days stresses washed down the drain David and his wife were ready for some coffee, breakfast, and conversation.
Things were becoming more relaxed, slower...time to chill and "choose the day"

"What do you want to do today?" David asks.
His wife is not sure, she reminds him that he was the one that did all the research...made the "plans within plans". Didn't you say something about Seasplash? she asks.
"Yes, but that is later this afternoon" Says David ..."Did I tell you about my weird dream?"
"It was about swimming in the ocean, there were sea urchins everywhere but they weren't really urchins...they floated up and I could see they were lion fish...dozens of them...I couldn't move...creepy"
David couldn't stop thinking about the lion fish...

I dig the Morrison quote. He actually went to Jamaica after the infamous Miami show, and wrote a poem called "Jamaica".

So sorry we didn't get to meet up with you at Seastar that last night....we looked for you (though I didn't know what you looked like, but we did ask around for Lorax lol)
We got to the party rather late though that night so I think we missed most everyone except Rob and Lisa, Bea, Tawnee and Jim and Donna

I was there that night looking around for all you crazy "Turtles" but didn't find any of you. I guess we left before you got there. We arrived with Stan & Betty and then met Tawnee, Jim & Donna and Rob & Lisa.

Dang Mo....This turtle missed it by a 1/2 day! DOH

Yeah we closed it down at Ivan's on our last night so we didn't make it over to Seastar until after 10 and by the time we got there it seems most of the crowd had already left
