Re: Negril Beach Club - Ambulance?
There are thousands of visitors to Negril who have seen the ambulance on runs with their own eyes. They dont need to rely on "very reliable sources" because they know they have seen it. Jimbo has had a family member treated by the ambulance and was impressed with their service. To claim that the ambulance is constantly in the garage goes against reality. It may have been in the garage for this situation - but it is most certainly not constantly in the garage.
Since the original poster has absolutely no first hand knowledge of the event in question - his speculative posts are serving no benefit to anyone.
The developing nation of Jamaica is not the United States and the village of Negril (it is not even large enough to be considered a town yet) cannot be compared to "many states". Of course a second and even a third ambulance would be great to have available, but that is not the case at the moment as it is in many small villages even in North America.
There is a new hospital being planned to service the Negril area - which will change the situation entirely. Maybe it would be better to direct the energies to make this happen.
Our hearts go out the family and friends of the fellow who had the heart attack, but this pointless and useless speculation will stop now. This thread is closed.
