I stopped at Ras Roddy's for a cup of soup. It was a 3 bean vegetable soup which was delicious. Returning to Negril Escape, Cathy was just getting a salad whch looked pretty good.

Re: A few pics from our trip!
I really had no plans on how far I would walk. I stopped a few times to visit with a local. I stopped at a few places for a drink and a little meditation as well as an occasional picture. In the end I walked all the way to Negril Escape.

Re: A few pics from our trip!
Your pictures are just amazing. What kind of camera are you using? Were you using a filter? If so, I want to get one.
Truly beautiful pictures. Thanks so much for sharing. I am so ready to get out the cold!
And as someone else said, I am amazed at how much sand is between the Negril Treehouse Restaurant and the water's edge. Great to see.

Re: A few pics from our trip!
After a long walk I finally made it back to Negril Escape. To my surprise there was a bag of gizzadas waiting for me. Cathy had been to Times Square and visited the bakery. The rest of the afternoon we just chilled at the property. Late in the afternoon there was an influx of people at the bar as the pubcrawl bus had arrived. Evening arrived and we made our way to Seastar for dinner and Karaoke.

Re: A few pics from our trip!
Tuesday morning arrived and we made our way to the breakfast buffet. There was always a decent variety at the buffet and each day the choices were different. This would be our last full day in Negril as the next day we were heading home. We decided to go back to Boardwalk Village as we had seen a doll there that we wanted to get for our grand daughter. Not that she really needs another doll as we seem to bring her a new Jamaican doll each trip.

Boardwalk Village is actually a pretty nice place. It has shopping, a coffee bar, restaurant, lobster pit and even has some rooms. We were able to get alook at a room and it was all new.

Re: A few pics from our trip!
While dining at Boardwalk Village we noticed that even though there was a lobster pit at the Boardwalk it wasn't being used. There was wood burning in the pit, but no lobster customers. Yet, next door at Our Past Time there was lots of action at Firemon's Lobster Pit. Firemon was helping numerous customers select their lobster from the cage in the sea and then grilling them on the pit.

Re: A few pics from our trip!
The dreaded day had arrived. It was going home day. Wayne from Rocky's Tours & Taxi arrived right on time and it was off to the airport. We did make one stop on the way. Wayne, our driver also has a little bar located near Lucea. We had stopped there 5 days ago on the way to Negril but it was already dark and we wanted to see the place in the daylight. Wayne was happy to show the place off and tell us of his plans for the future. It's called the Chill Spot Sports Bar & Grill located just past Grand Palladium on the way to Lucea and Negril.
