The cake lady is Ms Herman, and I think you are talkng abut John (RIP) at BBeach
LOL, The cake lady. She was a teacher at a girls college and her son worked at one of the big newspapers in the states. I don't think he still does since so few are reading papers anymore. She is a lovley lady and sells till late at night then goes home and bakes for the next day. Her cake is wonderful and like most of the beach vendors she works very hard.

Yes thank you - Smokey! Love that guy. He and my son have been pals since he was young (my son I mean). And Cake Lady is wonderful - I always make dates with her for big chunks of cake to keep in our room!
Tonight Tonight Tonight ..... on the beach ...... in Negril
R.I.P. Mighty Bass had a raunchy stand up comedy bit he'd do. I have a video of it, but the wave noise drowns out his jokes, unfortunately. Reverend BiBi has replaced him; he's a character in his own right, and a helluva entertaining MC.
Anyone have a picture of the dude that walks the beach with and aloe stump? Dreads, usually in very worn shorts and seems pretty out of it most of the time.
Thanks... I remember th eoriginal "hot, hot, hot" mon. Glad to hear it's not Fireman.

SIG! AAR! ETT! That distinctive votive is a ggreat way to wake up in the morning.
The first picture I posted was Ms Herman. She makes German Chocolate and walks the beach at dinner time. She has walked the beach since 1979. They also call her cake lady..The second is the world famous Rocky from De Bus. His chicken and sauce was famous all over the island. Back in the day De Busss was the best music venue on de Island..The feature acts actually showed up most of the time...
Is this recent AKA back on the beach with a shop or from before? The last few times I saw him he was up by Tigress 1&2/Mango tree/Roaring River or running taxi. When he had his beach place across from Jah B's/Afred's area he was like Jah watching over me.....feed me for free-ish....cheap beer prices and nobody on the beach could f with me.
Anyone have a picture on myy friend junior the aloe man

What about Lone Wolf, or Black Stallion or whatever your nickname is for the Rastitute with the menacing stare and long dreads that struts the beach with no shirt looking for his next "client"? I have no pics of him but I'm sure some folks know to whom I refer.
