Is Nov considered hurricane season? By the look of all the people goin I'm guessing No? lol
Technically hurricane season is over end of oct. sandy was right around Halloween last year though.
My research indicated that official hurricane season goes to the end of November, but higher chances in September/October. I figure late November is a pretty safe bet. I went the last week of November last year and the weather was great.
The only hurricane I have experienced in Negril in November was in my belly on the first night :)
November 30 - December 7. CSA - Wedding.
Mmm. Melody is right. Hurricane season does end Nov 30. Not sure where I got the idea that it ended in October. About 75% of pur jamaican trips are in November (we go for anniversary) so maybe I've been fooling myself.
Sorry for the misinformation though :). I can say I've never seen a November hurricane on the island over the course of eleven trips that time of year.

Not gonna see living the dream this year either. He gave my wife the most awesome earrings last year that his wife makes in their downtime. I'll try to leave tensing in one piece for you, Tim ;)

Moving from Dec roll call to Nov. Wife and I booked last night for Nov 1-9 @ Rondell Village.
Quickie trip Nov. 14-18th CCLP for my friend Bday this will make my 4th trip this year really wasn't planning for Nov. at all!!! but checked flights and got a real good non-stop deal both ways so I had to push d button...lol. I never been in Nov so I look 4ward to being in JA in Nov!
Well then welcome back! I'm glad you are able to make the journey again. Until we had at least confirmed we could make it work again this year, I avoided the board like crazy. It's more fun to hang out here with a trip on the horizon, even if its a really distant horizon. Lucky for us, the time is drawing near. :cool: I don't know if we will make it to Fun Holiday, as we don't move down to the beach until the 4th. We will for sure be at the Seastar webcast on the 30th though. With the number of boardies around, that webcast is likely to be hopping.Quote:

Made our decision Sunday, flights & hotel booked yesterday. Getting to Jamaica from LA these days can break the bank and seriously eat into your Red Stripe cash flow. The four hour layover also makes for a full day of travel but always worth it. last week in November...Hide Awhile....will have Red Stripe ash trays on hand, distrubuted 180 ash trays last visit in three days. They sell like hot cakes.

Nov 7-18 Bringing the kids this trip. Feeling bad about missing the Boardie Bash this year, we were in town and got stuck in Sav for the day. Going to make sure this trip is less of a mess. Breath easy.

We're looking to downsize our accomodations.On the beach, mini-fridge and private bathroom is all we need. Firefly has a small studio for around 85/night that would do the trick. Anyone have any other ideas in that price range?
Wild Parrot is supposed to be open in November, I'd email them for info. I got a deluxe room at Coco for my stay, on Booking.com for $58/night plus tax, ~$74 CAD. Just one king bed. I found the best price/booking site using Trivago. I emailed Coco after booking and all is confirmed.Quote:
