One thing that I have noticed when I travel and meet new people......If you ask an American where they are from they will give you a city or a state in the U.S. If you ask a Canadian where they are from, they will say "Canada." Just an observation.

I like to say that if your walking the beach and you pass someone who doesn't make eye contact-European, eye contact and a quick smile or hello-Canadian, a smile and hello and a conversation-American.
Really?...Maybe I am showing my ignorance but I had no idea Americans are so, or seen as such friendly people. I am from Ohio but now reside in Washington DC...If I was still in Ohio I guess I'd say I'm from the U.S. but I can say DC now because everybody knows it :)
Im sorry I have my last two Olympic gold Hockey medals blocking my vision to notice we have not won a cup in that long. And Canada's greatest export to the us is 90 % of all hockey players on American teams in the NHL.
A true Canadian would have no excuse to not notice a drought like that. I wouldn't trade any amount of Olympic medals for even one of my Red Wing's Cups of Lord Stanley!
I like the trash talk though ;)
Again your welcome from, from your canadian redwings.................and a couple of russians.
