Re: Tipping at Club Mobay
I actually joke to my wife that the trip from the airport to the drop off of our bags in the room will cost me a. Minimum of $100 in tips most years.

As far as departure the worst part is checking in for our flight
Once MBJ (at least the major airlines) added kiosks for checkin, it got much faster...if you don't have to check a bag. I almost never check one and often wait nearly an hour if I'm with people who do. Me, I'm checked in and at security in like 10 minutes now. The only negative to this for me is the inability to bring home 3 Dives jerk sauce as it's liquid and I can't carry it on.
For departure my favorite food is at Island Grill at the ticketing area but before you go through security. Not expensive, good Jamaican food, Just can't get soup (or eat it right there), they won't let it through security.
That said I've done Club MoBay several times but it's not quite as special as it was the first time or two. I think we'll skip it this time, there are 3 of us and the $ doesn't seem worth it. If you like to get your drink on before you leave though, the price is hard to beat.

Expediting through the line? It's part of the departure package with Club Mobay. Only applies to the security line, not airline check in.
