New Rick's Cafe?

I am sure its possible with a large group that spends the day there. We treated my two sister inlaws to an afternoon ar ricks and then dinner at sunset last april and without even drinking alot or renting a cabana it cost over $400 us. Now if i spent the day there with a bus load of my hard drinking canadian buddies pounding back beer and tequila we could put a big dent in that $6000 lol

6K in one sitting would be a 6 month hangover for sure!!

$8k for the week is a huge sum :rolleyes:

lawd of mercy mi live here for 5 months on 6K.....lol......to mi the spending seems to be way overboard

mi confused about this whole story.....isn't Ricks's owned by a corporation now?

Tom mi know of Sundowner was the manager der years ago.....and then operated Pirates Cave which wi all miss...maybe dis a different Tom?

Speaking of pirates cave, i was there last april for a few drinks with my lady and know its called pushcart now and they put a railing up so you cant jump off the wall anymore but i was wondering if there is still stairs from the yard across the road leading down into the cave? Thats how we always got up after jumping off the wall. I remember at one time on certain days or certain times of the day there was a girl down there that you could buy beer and drinks from

There was only 1000 people, but they each had a $6 Red Stripe at Rick's.

I was light before and it just makes no sense truth from money spent, proprietor and behaviour ….

I am very embarrassed that anyone would holiday in a country when every dollar is hard earned and show such disregard for the value that many of us enjoy. I just don't find it sits right with me no matter which way I look at it.

I believe it was mentioned before … go to Vegas and buy that $10,000 us bottle of drink. You are stroking your ego and missing the point of pride and culture where you holiday.
