Oooooh.....great report so far fellow Torontonian. :) I stayed at Fun Holiday some years back and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to reliving my trip through you.
Day twooooooo... we woke up Wednesday morning like it was Christmas day and wondering what Santa had in store for us today.
Because there were four of us girls we had decided to get two rooms so we weren’t tripping over each other. There were both good and bad with this, first it was good space wise, but I struggled with not being with all my partners in crime ... as it was often in the confines of our room that we would share some of our funniest stories or make our plans for the day. But no worries, we were making it work...
Since we had left two of the four of us back at Fun Holiday the day before I didn’t know what the other two had done the night before.... so you can imagine when I woke up on day two, went outside and as I was heading to the other duo’s room I noticed the black sock on the door.....

“””Aaaaaayyyyyyyy””””, I knocked feverishly on the door... “Who do you have in there and what did I miss!!!!”.... I could hear my girlfriends burst out laughing ... as they opened the door we were all bent over laughing so hard... ohhhhh how I miss the fun we have.
After discovering the room was deemed all clear and the duo felt satisfied that they had officially 'got me'... we headed straight for the beach, snorkel gear in hand.... loving the way the sand feels on my feet.. and then how the water feels as it hits my body as I bring in a gulp of air and head under the water to get my first 'dive' in... awwwww

Wednesday also brought one of the things I was most looking forward to.... the One Love Bus Pub Crawl. Two of the friends were staying on the beach and one of my girlfriends was coming with me, as was Poolguywindsor... 2pm Lembert showed up and the bus was almost full already. I was so excited to see Tanee and Randy already on the bus....

First stop was Mi Yard...
I walked up the steps to Mi Yard, got to the top and found not only Lisa there but two boardies that I hadn't seen since last summer at Tanee's backyard Jamaica party.... There sat Cindy and George.... Christmas really was continuing!!! That's one of the best things about this board.. you make friendships that mostly come to fruition when you are either in Jamaica or celebrating something Jamaican! Its like running into long lost friends and it feels a bit like home too! We were all so excited to see each other and to catch up. Had a couple of drinks also had the luxury of having been served some complimentary appetizers... fried banana, salt fish and festival... and let me tell you Mi Yard has some of the best festival I’ve ever tasted!

Next stop was Natural Mystic and Swordfish... where I was able to watch George enjoy an ice cream cone like no other man I know! Loved his ice cream :)
By the time we got to C&D and NoLimit... my gawd EVERYONE was feeling good and having a great time. Met Solotraveler while on the bus crawl... who we dubbed ‘Boston’ ( because he was from Boston) ... it seems we weren’t able to remember his given name or his Boardie name. I was able to stay connected to Solotraveler/ Boston throughout the remaining of his part of his vacation and even now, he’s such a nice guy.... definitely one of the those kind of boardies that you feel lucky to have met!
Pee Wee’s was our next stop .... enjoyed more rum cream on the ice ... oh how I dream about sipping cold rum cream while I’m in Canada... where the steam is coming off the cup it’s so cold and it’s so hot outside....

I discovered my new favourite place for this trip. I love falling in love with a newly discovered place. Sir D’s did it for me, I had never been there before and the moment I set eyes on the view and had an awesome margarita in my hand I was head over heals... great vibe, great sunset and not crowded.. some of my favourite pictures this trip were of sunset from Sir D’s.

Final stop was Sea Star.... this was the first time I had been to Sea Star since the renovations and man does it look good. Couple more drinks and back on the bus we went so Lenbert could deposit us back safely to our hotel .....everyone laughing, singing, dancing in their seat... Boomtastic had us all singing and offering us cheep beer at Sea Splash if we could remember the secret word: “Boomstastic”... it was really hard for some to remember it...lol; Poolguywindsor was trying to strike a deal with me and my friend ... but you’ll have to ask him about that.. lol.... It was a awesome day... and I couldn’t wait to go again the following week.
Back at the hotel it was dinner and more drinks... and fun with the girls. Awww, I love vacations and I love Jamaica.
