How high did you all jump from? I'm curious....I am still not sure about cliff jumping. The strange thing is I was on a diving team growing up.
Tizzy - OMG Everytime I click into this thread and see that picture of you jumping off that cliff, I start cracking up.:D - then reading the comments from Joe, Booger and Giurigay made me laugh harder, It DOES look like you're dancing like a seastar drummer in the air. lol

We definitely all need to jump off a cliff together at Catcha. I'm not going to be a guest at Catcha until the end of my trip though, Do you think you guys can sneak me in? Maybe Tizzy and Booger can divert the security guard, while you open the gates and usher me in? :cool:
Tfw73 -Hmmm, That's a good question. I'm not sure how high that cliff at Catcha falling Star is... I'm 5'6 so I'm guessing 15-18 feet maybe? Does anyone know?

I am not really sure how high that spot at Catcha would be, but I think your guestimation may be correct.
The cliff I jumped off of for the first time they said was 40 feet (not sure if that is correct or not but sounds reasonable) though I at least felt like the top of the lighthouse at Negril Escape seemed even higher..not really sure....but either way it is pretty darn high when standing at the top thinking about jumping off, that's for sure!
Marley- That's true! On top of that, you have yoda-like mind bending powers. As long as I roll with you, I don't anticipate anyone standing in our way. hahaha!

And that 40 foot jump....well I was 22 when I did it....and I was 33 when I did the Lighthouse and to be honest, that 22 jump seemed MUCH easier....young and fearless (or stupid) I guess!
But how many people can say "This one time....I jumped of a cliff....."

This is true....and if you have jumped off a cliff, either 15 feet, 20, 40 or even more...it doesn't really matter because every time, when you are in the air falling towards the water (for me at least) it literally feels like you are NEVER going to reach the water.Quote:
