LOL, at the rate you paid for that incredible hotel deal at Summerset, had you not bought that grinder, you could have stayed two extra nights, lol ....
Coconut water is good for rehydration and hangovers and and it's natural and in abundance.
FYI..
Just a reminder: when the power goes out (and it does) that means ATM machines wont work- also , many times they are out of cash (esp sunday) and ATMS can eat cards too....You will not got it back-or not without an insane amount of time and hassle...I rec. everyone have two separate cards if using ATM (if one gets lost, etc) alwasy have some emergency cash stashed and its a good idea to have a few Travlers cheques for back-up ..if you lose them at least you can get them replaced in a timely manner..Not so with cash or ATM/credit cards...
Also- for the most part do not carry your passport around-leave in safe place and make a good -color photocopy to have with you at all times and write on there where your staying and emergency contact number..In case something happens to you (and you cant respond) they will at least know who you are..
I also write down the phone of the us embassy-in case a have an emergency and need their help...all this just takes a few minutes and just a simple piece of folded up paper you take with you...
Other than that-my jam cell-and my little port i=pod for music...I travel as light as I can..
I scanned my passport and Daniel's and emailed it to myself. I will be able to pull it up on my phone or tablet if need be.
So where can I get the skin so soft (besides an Avon rep) spray. I leave at the tail crack of dawn on Tuesday so I really don't have time to wait for an order to come back.
Half the clothes, twice the money - soon come
Coppertone - Bug & Sun (its a dual bug repel and sun screen). I use it only at night and it works GREAT. And its a lotion not an oil or spray which I have an aversion to.

So nice of everyone to help out with all these great tips. Weird thing, though, I never get any insect bites, never use repellent .... Also, after a day or two of sunblock, I kind of get used to using less and less so after a week or so I dont need it at all.
Not fair Gerry, sunscreen all day, every day! :)
What about gadgets?? i was wondering if i should start a thread, i am curious what gadgets boardies bring. example

This is a spotlight i bought. I was thinking about a battery operated lamp/lanturn, But then i found this, thought it would be perfect. I also orderd some travel speakers. I usally always bring a radio, but this reach i am bring a cheap am/fm player with travel speakers. My phone is unlocked so that i can put a ja sim card in it, so i use my u.s. phone as mp3 player as well as a phone.
The gadget i am not sure if i am bringing is my ipad2. Its my personal media machine. i have ebooks, mags, games, music and love it. But the conditions as far as heat, sand, possible theft and other things worry me.
I have thought about purchasing a solar powered cell charger, not for me, more for my friends in country who dont always have current(power). I also think i saw rechargable batteries, the charger was solar powered. I have gotten requests over the years for rechargable batteries, solar power charger sounds very economical.
I would like to know what kind of gadgets people bring down. I have heard but have not seen a pitcher for water that purify's and makes the water cold as you pour it out. If this kind of pitcher is out there, i wanna know where i can find one for my rasta friends.
Gerry i envy you on the spear gun, i been wanting to try it for years and still never have. Once i seen you bought one i mentioned it to my girlfriend, and that idea was shot down quickly of bringing a spear gun down.
Condoms ??? :o Not sure I saw that on your list ... lol
