How Did You ........

I hollered back to "Kiss My A**" as I walked past Tayon who was standing outside his bar by now, along with half of the local neighborhood......."Mon who you think you is-Rambo only turn his back on a man with a machete and simply walk away"........

and so it was cast......from that day on that is all we were know by in Negril...................(sure raises some eyebrows when somebody hollars "RAMBO"...and in walks a 65 yr old man with two canes.....lol)

Nickname dont reflect it...but NOW i am a non-miltary,non-violence-non war American..........

Around the time I had to create my very first email address I was living in Hawaii and about to start college.
Pagers were the big thing back then lol and everyone had a pager code you would type in front of the number so your friends would know it was you that was paging. My pager code was 9808
9 was my lucky number and 808 was the area code for Hawaii, it also (sort of) spelled Bob

So when it was time to come up with my email address I chose Marley9808 (Marley, because I was a huge Marley fan and 9808 because it was my "handle")
Over the years it then began to be used for everything emails, usernames, etc.
I was on another message board for the Marleys and began to be known as "Marley" or "Marley9808" so it has just stayed with me all of these years.....

I used to use Sue but there were a few of us so I changed to my initials - SLP

I am not creative at all (as said befor) This was the FIRST message board I ever even looked at. Suggested by a friend wo has gone to Jamaica for many years, and was talking to us about going. It did not take long for me to get hooked. So we still remain Jim-Donna. Hopefully we will NOT forget our NAMES !

been playing softball for a bunch of years, I pitch, and have been known to "groove" a few in there...been known as groove on most of my emails and message boARDS FOR 20 years now...16 is my number...(well, got it from Joe Montana, best QB ever)

also known more as T-Wayne....first name terry, middle name wayne....and like rina said, growing up, if I heard moms voice...TEEERRRYYY WAAAYYYNNNEEE....you knew it wasn't a good thing...

I thought mine was pretty simple, but it was expressed to me, oh.............a year ago April to be exact:) that it made no sense, lol.

My husband every year used to say his body was leaving the island, but he was leaving his head in the trees. Our Jamaican friends would call us thru the year to tease him and let him know his head is ok.
Now we like to tell everyone we work in American and live in Jamaica.

Like alot guys,the locals always called me Mr. Biggs or Bigga.I thought they called all big guys that so I felt like I was flavor of the month like Baskin Robbins .So Biggs of the Week was born.

I work on and restore Musical Instruments and a lot of my clients call me Doc.....So..being a "doctor" for vintage instruments,,Muzikdoc was born...Besides unlike Katho, the name most of my friends call me, "dickhead", didn't feel appropriate.
