The 30th would be perfect for us, we arrive on the 27th late afternoon with my brother an SIL who have never been to Jamaica so the 28th is first real day and was hoping they would have one that Friday. I am going to discuss it with everyone then make the arrangements but almost sure 4 for Friday the 30th

I too, am ready - looks like I'll be arriving same day as a couple others... just realized I should get atleast the 1st night booked somewhere... they're gonna be asking me at the airport~
I'm flying by the seat of my pants on this one. Have got a couple nights booked in the Blue Mountains 'bout mid month but other than that, guess I'll get there when I get there. lol - am I there yet?!
Will definately be in Negril for the Jerk Fest on the 25th... probably a few days sooner but! Treasure Beach is calling for exploration 'cause by then I'll have made my way 'round clockwise. Wish me luck folks and hopefully I'll be meeting atleast some of you along the way~

To answer your question: (even tho I too, am still a newbie)
I found YS Falls to be AMAZING!! Had I been there with a friend who had a lotta time on their hands, I could've stayed there the whole day. Just saying...
I also found the cliffs to be out of this world from topside to sea. Jumping from the wall was exhilarating (I stayed at the castle) & snorkeling was fantastic. Famous Vincent took us for an underwater tour... he's the one! to go with on a glass bottom boat to the reef/coral gardens. He put a sea cucumber in my hands that was softer than any plush I've ever felt!!

Booked this flight as soon as I could when I got back from my first time. Mind you, coulda saved a few $$ had I just been patient but c'est la vie. Couldn't help it, I guess. Fulljoy!!
Hard to even imagine Thanksgiving overlooking the ocean, island breezes, flip flops, swimsuits, red stripes, sipping on a good rum, jerk chicken, and lobster.. No worrying about the turkery, the dressing, who can should sit next to who at the dinner table, cause ya know how family can be!
I don't think I'll have any problem saying good bye to tradition for one year. Soon Come Thanksgiving 2012

Harwood.....the village with more dogs than people. Busy with anglers and cottagers from May to October. A easy drive to Peterborough or Toronto when cabin fever hits. It is all about farming, gravel quarries and being on the lake in the summer and snowmobile trails in the winter. Our mail is not delivered and we must pick it up at the former General Store......after the post mistress has read it of course! If the post mistress ever retires we will probably get one of those ugly free standing multiple out door mailbox things. That would be boring although handy!! Picking up our mail reminds me of Sam Drucker on Peticoat Junction. Some of the old timers still like to stand around and tell stories of days gone by. Most are as amusing as they are informative.....usually leaving me with a smile. However blah blah blah..........no wonder I love Negril!
Tomorrow starts the month we've been waiting for.

That's awesome! We just had our 40th anniversary. Celebrating our 60th and 65th Birthdays
while in Negril this November. Couldn't think of a better place to be. Looking foreward to the 3 Dives Jerk Festival again this year.
