Didnt eat the food when there. We showed up after 10 both times. The first time they had a show going on in the middle of the beach. Michael Jackson impersonator (Was good) Some break dancers, then a fire eater. Pretty entertaining, so bother at the bar or while getting drinks.
Second time we went, it was basically just a DJ. That was just OK, but no bother from anyone.
Well we had not been to BB on our previous 2 trips we did try it out twice and IMO it is catering to the Ricks/Margarittaville type crowd(not saying anything negative at all about those places, hit Margarittaville for 1 drink each time trip and enjoy it for what it is .) I just feel like it is trying to be the "club" on the beach, and if that's what your looking for then this is the place to be it seems. That being said both times the service at the bar was great, and we spent the evening with an older cigarette sales man who was sitting at the end of the bar. No hassles from anyone selling anything.
We went last Monday night. And I must say it was the least fulfilling experience of my Negril vacation.
Way too many hustlers. The music was great. But don't expect to walk 15 feet from the place without constant harassment.
I've never tried their food so can't comment. I will echo the very wierd vibe that many have expressed. That was enough to keep me away permanently.
actually considered one of the places to hang and listen to music and drink these days......
it is what it is.........a lot of locals will be der......as well as tourist
if you want a quieter and nicer place.....try the Italian Cafe on the other side of the road

I went there twice in Feb. The first time was at the recommendation of a local acquaintance of ours who we invited out with us. My lady was with us and that seemed to keep the working ladies at bay. The second time I was with a group of guys. I made the mistake of flashing a wad of JA$'s when I went to tip the fire breather. Things got a little annoying after that. The music was good and I was entertained both nights. I'd go back again. Since there's no cover it's worth a visit just to see for yourself if your remotely interested . If it's not your thing, have a drink and move on.
Great advice. If it turns out not what you are looking for, move on. Have found many nice, and many not-so-nice places, but if you don't check it out for yourself you will never know. One persons heaven can be anothers hell.Quote:

I'm all for freaky, trust me.
I prefer Alfreds, less hustle, and big ol strong drinks that will knock you on your butt, literally!!:)
