Maybe someone would click on the topic "President Obama coming to Jamaica!" to find out the facts about his visit. The fact that you don't like MSNBC or have a dislike for President Obama is immaterial to the topic. Not too surprising a position taken from Oxford, Alabama, is it?
Simple? yeah, I think "simple" about covers that.

Clicked on it to see about the visit, not political opinions.
Re: President Obama coming to Jamaica!
Do I love my President? Yes. Do I agree with everything he has done? No. Did I like President Bush? No, not really. Did I still refer to him as President? Yes. To me, just lil ole me, it's disrespectful to refer to any president by just his name. I'm sure anyone that sits in that seat has a barrage of critics and is scrutinized for every little thing. Good thing I won't ever have that seat! LOL
Soooo anyone think D Rose will play again anytime soon?? How are your NCAA brackets doing? Are they showing the games in Negril?

agreed. I feel that a lot of the "disagreement" with the president is thinly veiled racism and it's disgusting and sad.

An even simpler thing to do is to not to make such obviously heated and rude comments in a very important thread announcing that a sitting President, who happens to be the first African-American President is visiting the small island nation of Jamaica that has gained independence a little over 50 years ago whose population is made up of a majority of African decent.
That is why we do limit discussions about politics and religion, but this news of the two term President Obama visiting Jamaica is very important to the Jamaican people. To make light of it, make jokes about something that is so important to the Jamaican people does show a lack of compassion to what the Jamaican people value.
In the future, this visit to Kingston will be talked about similar to when the Queen visited or Haile Selassie came here, this is a big deal for Jamaica.
I am disturbed but not surprised by the comments made by some here. It just saddens me that some can not or choose not to see the big picture and have some bizarre need to express heated, rude comments.
