Try JUTA NEGRIL - last year they were 18 dollars each way per person - it's a nice air conditioned bus that takes all Tourists right to Negril. They have awebsite where you can book, just know that they wait for everyone to land within about one hr or less you are on your way!Quote:

Interesting! I have had terrible luck with Clive's but have refrained from posting about it until now. They have always been at the airport to take me to Negril, except the first time I used them. No problem in any case as Ican always get JUTA if they're not there.
Now comes the real downer. I have been left stranded 3 times returning to MoBay, and the last time the bus broke down enroute. Why do I continue to use them? Good question. I keep hoping to get better service, expecting it as they've disappointed me so many times. I think, gee, this time they'll make an extra effort --- not! Next trip, another company! It may cost more but reliability is essential when going to MoBay for return flight.
BTW, I always reconfirm the day before I'm to leave Negril.

have enjoyed the services of Clive for many years. this is the first price increase i have seen even tho fuel costs have "gone wild". a mere $12 price increase is not going to "break my retirement bank" nor sway my loyalty when treated professionally for so long.
Actually, it's a $24 price increase. When you're living on a retirement income that does not cover life's expenses, then we can talk about your "retirement bank". Don't forget to add the high cost of medical insurance. That will break your budget quite easily.
I was one of Clive's first customers & prefer to stay w/ him. However, if I can save a few dollars, I will aim for that.
Well I think it's a 20$ increase for the regular transfer. Last June i paid 40$ RT and last november i paid 60$ RT. Returning in Feb and will pay 60$ RT. And this is for a regular transfer not private. I don't mind, it's a good way to meet people.
I am sorry I was wrong when I thought back on it it isn't chicken but someone else I was thinking of, and didn't get back to this thread until now.
As far as my own experiences with transfers, I have mostly used Clives, and been okay with them, except for one time when I shared a ride in with someone with Big Ship tours, and was pretty happy with it, and on my last trip, I used JoeCool Taxi, for both my transfers and my tours. I have never had any major issues with any of my transfers, so can say that any of the above would give decent service. As far as which of the above I will use for my next trip, well I really haven't made up my mind. :)
We always use Negril Onestop, not the cheapest ($120 RT IIRC) but has always been reliable for us
