Re: Non-refundable tickets. Bad idea?
The good news is I just got back from the short drive to the airport and there was no problem what-so-ever with the changes. There were no lines and no one but us and the people more than happy to take care of us. We spent more time talking to the wonderful US Airways staff than it took to drive there and have them update our tickets. My wife is herself again. She's Irie again.

Woohoo! It didn't cost anything? You didn't have to cancel & rebook?

No fee, no penalty, no problem. My wife just can't believe how much fun everything actually turned out to be. It was a beautiful sunny day. The ride was very relaxing and nothing could have been better about the whole incident. That's my take anyway. We had a great talk with the lady at the counter about exactly what to expect. We can't take water but can freeze it and drink it as it melts. So funny. We can take peanut butter but not allowed to take jelly. She gave us the whole lowdown. I actually wanted a do over it was so cool. Just don't do anything over the phone, that's all I say. Makes me feel good about real people again.

Thanks Bnewb. We will have the best time we ever had in all the years and times we have visited Jamaica since our first time in 1980.
