Having a local phone is a nice convenience. I use it mostly to call drivers as well as stay in touch when friends are in town. You can always turn it off if you need to completely disconnect.Quote:

Also, anyone know any contacts at a local school for a visit? I'd love to tour and participate in a classroom for an hour or two on Thursday! I teach fifth grade so something elementary would be awesome. I'd love to help support a small group of students or get involved in a lesson/activity. I think there are a few avenues I can peruse but I thought I'd ask here first! Thanks!
