Re: Tripit - I scanned our passports, travellers cheques & save to tripit. If anything gets lost (including my iPhone) I just need a computer to sign onto the site to bring up all the info. I also add notes and photos and phone numbers of restaurants, cambios...anything I want to remember and keep track of....days & locations of live entertainment...I also scan and add as a photo all travel insurance documents, consulate phone numbers, credit card contact numbers. I am so organized and ready for anything because of it. And it's fun to add to it while waiting for the vacation.

Melody, I downloaded the android version of the app last week when I saw your post. I have my flights and accommodations all loaded inn. Nov 28-Dec 8 - 3 nights at Blue Cave Castle, 3 at Catcha then down to the beach to CocoLaPalm for the last 4. Great tip on the travel documents and credit card info too. I would have never thought of that and being able to access that info from any computer could come in really handy. Here's hoping I don't need it!

Yup, hope we don't need all that emergency info, but how convenient this makes it if ever needed.

I also copy and paste in as a note my hotel email confirmation. Mind you I save those things also in a designated email folder. Plus I print the confirmation and have it handy to show at the airport - I was asked for it on my last trip.

My last trip, I used the free 30 day tripit pro upgrade and set a reminder to cancel before the 30 days. It was nice, but I don't travel enough to make it worthwhile. The really important stuff is available free - there are free flight alerts/tracking apps to get that sort of info.

Nov 11 to 29 @ White Sands.....

You're welcome! Come November, we'll be able to pick out the boardies b/c we'll be checking our itineraries via TripIt on our devices! (20 years ago, we wouldn't have been able to understand that sentence!)
