So, Dave (not fuzzy), and his wife arrive at Catcha for dinner...The friendly Catcha staff ask if they would like to have a drink at Ivan's before dinner, Dave thinks (hell yea) and his wife agrees...This bar is a great place to hang out :-)

Delicious drinks are consumed, conversations with cool people are concluded, and Dave and his wife are led to their table...
Past the wooden frog planter... by the classic Buddah holding kazoo statue...over the pool bridge...
What a view!

Dave is totally relaxed now...Time has slowed down...Dave doesn't know what time it is...He doesn't care...He is "in the moment", and it's a good feeling...
Catcha is beautiful, there are wonderful views in every direction...

Wine and an appetizer are ordered before dinner...
As the sun sets a feeling comes over Dave and his wife...like they are in some sort of alternate reality...just for them...their own place in space and time...
Catcha becomes even more magical as the sun sets...

Re: Dave Escapes....P.N.S, Negril, and the Apparent Event Horizon (a trip report)
Dinner is here...Dave is confused...how long had they been there?...an hour? all day? just minutes?
Time was becoming distorted...the relaxed Negril vibe was slowly filtering into his soul...His mind wandering, he laughed to himself thinking about something a cab driver once told him...
One time after being picked up for a ride back to his hotel he had inquired as to what time it was..." It's night time mon" was the answer.
Dinner was delicious...

Thanks for sharing your evening with us. I'm right there with you. Great pics - the food looks wonderful. Special people in a special place.

Oooooooooooo, we had the plantain wrapped shrimp as well! It was to die for! (Way better than the classic bacon wrapped shrimp, imo)

OK...so dinner was gone, the sun was down, time to relax with a few drinks at the bar...
Dave was thinking that this may be one of the coolest bars he had ever been in...cool vibes, excellent bartenders, and always someone nice to talk to...
You never know who you are going to meet here...This night it was boardie Coco and her husband...Two very nice people :-)
Dave and his wife had a nice time talking to them about anything and everything...from the Drunken Parrot to the mysterious Tim's spot :-)
The Drunken Parrot...
