Re: Trip Report - Saying Goodbye and Giving Thanks
Here is a quick video of Xtabi bar and Omar's great taste in music. I am by no means a photographer or videographer. I just like to take them more for the audio. It immediately takes me back to the moment.

I noticed that day that Omar was playing a YouTube mix....something I started to discover before our trip. I asked him about it and he told me to check out DJ Chunny. I highly recommend throwing this on one evening while you are making dinner and such. It promises a smile.

wpyogi, I want you to know that I’m listening to a self compiled cd of Beres tunes as I read your wonderful report. It only seems appropriate to have him in the background, nuh true?
I love how you talk about the folks you know and reconnecting with them. Bet you bring them lots of smiles when you’re around. You sound like a very positive individual. I agree with those who know you and say I’m glad you are posting a report. Oh and your pictures are beautiful.

loving this laid back report. You are hitting some of my favorite places and the photos both hit the spot and make my heart long so bad for Tony's Hut, Xtabi, Seastar, the beach--sigh. That youtube collection of tunes is da best! I am listening to it right now--cranked way up with head phones on. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you walleyed99! I couldn't agree more about memories in Negril. It's what sealed the deal for us to go on this trip.

vi - I love me some Beres! Very appropriate:) Music of all types and genres have always been a part of my everyday life. (although it's heavily if not almost all reggae/dancehall now, lol) And the music always changes with the mood. Your second comment really warms my heart. Thank you. I truly believe and try to live by the belief that every moment is a gift and our paths cross with others for a reason. If I bring smiles, it's only because they gifted me with smiles as well.

Heheheheheh, what writing style?! I'm wingin' it! It seems you always saw us AFTER we were completely wrecked, so it's only fair you get the background story now, lol....

wpyogi--no trip on the horizon -- crying here. But I have been blessed to have 2-3 trips a year for the past 7 years so absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. And meanwhile you boardies have been posting some excellent photos and stories to keep me going. I will def. pay it forward when I go next.

A little tour of cottage #1. I spent lots of time here with my feet up, staring at the sea.

Like this! Btw, that's the pretty little anklet I picked up at Just Natural.

The view FROM the shower. All I need is a beer. Showers make you thirsty, ya know?
