Travelling with a picky eater
Our family of 5 will be staying at Treehouse in March. My 15 yr old daughter has some special needs, along with that comes her being a very picky eater. She loves cheeseburgers, pizza and hot dogs (kid food). I'm also hoping to get her to try some of the delicious fruit there. I do plan to bring a few staples for her (protein powder and protein bars)
We'll be there for 6 days. Is this going to be difficult or will I be able to find her foods that she likes to eat? She is a big breakfast eater and I know she will love the breakfast at Treehouse.
Can't wait to see the Sun... It's only 4 degrees here today!

I'm rather picky myself and struggle at times eating in Negril. You can find all that you mentioned, however I really struggle with the beef in Jamaica and she might not like it either. There is a Burger King in town and you can get an ok burger at Margaritaville, but outside of that I have yet to have a solid burger anywhere in Jamaica. Some people rave about Aubie's burger, which are more like meatloaf IMO.
You have several solid options for pizza with German Bar and Italian Cafe offering up a solid pie. Jenny's up on the West End makes great comfort food, and can whip together just about anything that you might want.
A couple of trips ago I brought some prime steaks from home, but good luck dealing with the Ministry of Agriculture in securing a permit in order to do it the proper way. Damn those steaks were good.

I would bring some items from home that she likes if you have room in your luggage.

Beat me to it Bostonguy823.

Ciao Jamaica will deliver tasty pizza to you at treehouse...
Re: Travelling with a picky eater
My son gets sick of jamaica food after a while, and orders pizza and cheeseburgers and also chicken tenders - all with fries of course at Seasplsah all the time. In the restaurant and room service (which is cool with us when we want our own time at the bar/beach and he is chilling). We have stayed at Treehouse and they have the same items on their menu.
You can also order pizza delivered by Chances, or others I'm sure, if she needs a new pizza experience. There is a place close to town, others will correct me - but I think it's Ahbbee's and maybe also Sunrise something? that is known for huge great burgers, so some day you could make it an excursion ;;

Agreed on the chicken sandwich. Our first time there the lil empress (also a picky eater) was having a hard time so we went there. Really I thought everything there tasted like back home. Not my thing while in JA, but for someone who needs familiar foods it's a good place to go.

Sunset after Dark? I heard he was getting his hamburger meat from the States, however I never verified it with the man himself. I have a friend who raves about his burgers.
Re: Travelling with a picky eater
Yes! I think Sunset After Dark. It was a really good burger.
