wheres the best place to find some decent wine in Negril nowadays. Its been five years since our last visit and I'm hoping the selection of wine has improved since last trip. Wine is for the wife. As for me, I.m a rummy and thats never been a problem there lol

I enjoy my wine as well..I have learned that vino is not really recognized Also my vodka, scotch and whiskey..Been hitting the rock for over 20 plus years and have established a $125.00 a day budget for my adult libations..I need to increase that,,,lol
I have found that you need to patronize the more upscale establishments and pay the price

No secret purchasing Wine is super expensive in Jamaica as compared to N America....
Quality Traders and L&M Market actually have a pretty good selection in Negril....
and prices aren't too bad if you go with Spain wines...

Found an OK Chardonnay at Shamrock store for $1000J

I never had the courage to try a $1000 Chardonnay...

marko, where are the couple places that you mentioned? also we were going to stop at the sams club type shop in mo bay. anyone have a comment on the wine selection there?

Mega Mart wine selection is OK
always buy several decent inexpensive bottles of Chardonnay for wife
Large selection and wide range of prices

Do you know if they have wine at the Duty Free shop ?

MarieD...I asked a friend that just came through the airport & she said she didn't see any wines in the arrivals duty free. And then said...if she missed seeing wine, it would be an extremely limited choice.
