visit to Kingston
I travelled to Kingston (by bus & bicycle carried on bus) for New Years. The whole trip was awesome including the bus ride along the south coast which was really scenic. I stayed downtown near Coronation Market and walked to the fireworks on the waterfront.
To get to Kingston from Negril, the Knutsford Express bus is comfortable and inexpensive. Not sure exactly where it picks up in Negril (I got on at Sav) but you can look it up. Go online to check schedules and reserve a ticket. I can recommend an Airbnb downtown for the intrepid traveller who wants to stay right in the downtown chaos.
If I can figure out how to post videos I will post some videos from my trip including the scenic bus ride, downtown Kingston (Coronation Market area) shot from my bicycle, and the fireworks and party by the waterfront. Looks like I have to first upload them somewhere else then post a link. I only had 1 phone stolen doing this :( - snatched out of my hand by a thief on motorcycle (this is apparently a common thing in Kingston so be careful). The videos I will post were taken from my remaining phone after that happened.
Peace and love,
Richard

Re: visit to Kingston
OK I will try YouTube instead and re-post links after I put my videos there. The links work for me but it may depend on having a vimeo account.
