For me it's simple. At the end of the night, I suck in all the sounds, smells and the feelings I can take in. I thank God, for leading me to this place, then I pray
this will not be my last trip. That's after I do everything I can that day(&night) and have some road side jerk chicken for the last time. There's a few more
things but I'm not telling that part.
Spend the night with the family at the yard in Spring Garden. Sitting on the verandah listening to the goats and chickens.
Oh what a question, and I will never tell !!! LOL. But you realize that when you live here part of the time it is a little bit different. It will be a 6 month separation for Ted and I when I return in April to the US.
If I were a tourist and my trip was limited to a week or two, I think my last day would be spent at the Canoe, enjoying the water, the food and the atmosphere.
I like to eat dinner at a nice place smoke some local flavor and stroll the beach
Bar hop and overdo it. I tell myself that I won't overdo it, however it never fails and I'm hurting the whole way home. Live every day like it is your last.
We're going to do the private dinner with all the candles at Ivan's.
How i spend my last night has varied from trip to trip... with this past trip taking the cake for being the most fun last night ever!
but usually
i spend the day with family in orange hill (because i rarely visit them during the trip because orange hill is not my cup of tea) and then go over to my grandma's house in west end.. from there i watch my final sunset (holding back the tears) and then whenever i get back to my hotel i like to go walk down the beach on last time.. find somewhere to sit, smoke, and listen to the waves crash and possibly hear a little music..
i think and reflect on what i can remember and relax because i know the next day is all airports and telling the same story 100x
early supper at Kuyaba, catch sunset, say goodbye to a few friends,,get in the sack early..........(packed up during the morning)
out flight would be in afternoon, but wanted to be in MoBay at first light....have many people to see before we leave the Island....
have a drink and inhale deeply at High Lights bar...head down to airport for check in
