Anyone in Negril that share information on the storm over night. Everything OK? :confused:

well some reports of very high seas and winds - not full blown but outages? Just seeing about the conditions.

The web cast from Seastar last night was just normal. No wind to speak of.

Things over by PA were a bit different though!

Friend on West End reported overnight/early morning, very high waves and wind. But hopefully just a few hours and all is well this morning. Cable lock off? Supposedly didn't start until after midnight maybe.

The reports we heard came right after the Seastar party.....wind and high waves crashing up over the cliffs.
Just waiting now to hear more, hopefully all is well on the cliffs

For those who have never experienced what can happen when the sea is rough, the waves crashing up on the cliffs can be an amazing sight! But the waves last night were nothing out of the ordinary, just what we call rough seas. And the winds were even less to worry about. There might have been gusts of no more than 15mph....

We hadn't heard any more updates yet this morning so were worried but also just assumed the wifi was out.

Came in from Portie yesterday. Last night was as said, on the beach high winds, sea angry,rough! Same today, the sun is out some clouds, with rain off & on. As they say " just passing through! Vendors walking the beach.......
