Re: Beach reccomendations...
Definitely Kuyaba. Its on the beach and meets your price range. It has a gift shop with restaurant and bar, but dining at the restaurant can be a little pricey. They have cottages, deluxe, and honeymoon rooms.

Re: Beach reccomendations...
We just stayed at Coco LaPalm and loved it! Ocean view King room was fantastic and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend it!
Re: Beach reccomendations...
I would check out Idle Awhile.
Re: Beach reccomendations...
Or next door to Idle Awhile is the Charela Inn. Classy and elegant with out being stuffy or pretentious, and nicely priced. Also check out Negril Treehouse.
Re: Beach reccomendations...
Negril Treehouse for sure. Great location and vibe with amazing breakfast. For a few extra $ Idle Awhile is special.
Re: Beach reccomendations...
I 2nd the recommendation for coco la palm! check it out at www.negrilonestop.com
Re: Beach reccomendations...
I would switch it up if you have 9 nights. I do the beach first because I'm still hyped up,then do the cliffs...
I'm doing 5 nts CoCo on the beach,2 nts Sea Star for the Sat show then 3 nts Xtabi on the cliffs...
Re: Beach reccomendations...
Kuyaba is the coolest place on the beach! Awesome restaurant and the hotel has a great tropical feel....even right down to the hotel birds ...Buddy & Charlie!!
Once you check out the website you will be sold. The hotel does not disappoint.
Re: Beach reccomendations...
I agree with Fred, we like to switch it up.
We stay on the beach first since its full of life and has lots going on - late night concerts and early morning walks. Then we move to the cliffs for some R&R time - its the best of both worlds!!
I like Coco La Palm as well - great location and yummy banana bread :o
