Anyone stay at Llantrissant? Have it booked later in the year....
My Mom, or Booger's babysitter, has been sweating me to take her along for one of our trips. Booger has mobility issues and I have been hesitant to take her on all of our previous trips. This place looks perfect to take care of our needs and I was looking for any feedback that one can provide. The fall rates look fantastic for what you will get in the long run.

[QUOTE=booger;80749][FONT=comic sans ms][SIZE=4]My I have been On the property when it was Dr Travis home/ office. The property is beautiful and way bigger then you would guess from the outside. I don't know anything about it as a resort but can attest to its beauty and privacy. Dr Travis was an American trained in the US and with extensive experience as a emergency room MD in Chicago. He was a a great medical resource in Negril when he was there. He left in part as he related to me because of the high rate of domestic abuse among Jamaicans. It's a part of Jamaica we don't like to think about

The property is still in the Travis family, not sure if the Doc is still running it or not but the person who is helping me is in fact a Travis. Thanks for your reply Negrilal, much appreciated.....

Hey Booger,
We just had a group of friends stay here for our wedding in January. They absolutely loved it! We spent a fair amount of time on the property and could not recommend it more. There are 2 private, beautiful beaches and lots of ocean toys to boot. There are 2 bedrooms with attached bedrooms upstairs (they are huge) and 2 smaller bedrooms upstairs. They can be set up as 2 singles or as a king. There is also a little alcove with a single bed across from the bathroom. The little cabin is cute too with a very unique shower. The house is very old and full of character. We ate dinner out on the covered patio or set up the another long table right by the water. The staff is top notch - as thoughtful and fun as the staff at Catcha.
You would work out the menu in the morning and the staff would grocery shop and pick up everything you wanted. Eating there was delicious and dirt cheap.
There is an ocean fed pond full of sea turtles and a well kept tennis court. The only negative was it was a bit loud throughout the night - not a big deal for us but it would be for light sleepers. We had a blast there. Let me know if I can answer any more questions for you.

Is this the same Ally that just got married at Catcha (aka the Ally that kicked us out of our room?) Hahahaha
Just kidding
Congrats to you and Dan!
I didn't get to speak to you much but I talked to Dan and he mentioned that your guests were very pleased with Llantrissant.
Thanks for the review, our group has been thinking about staying there together some time and your hubby pretty much sold us on the place!
