too-much time day-&-night-dream-ing
about my upcoming trip.

e.g., looking at my old-pics & videos
..thinking
......planning (which is a stupid *idea*)
..........ponder-ing
..............packing (in my mind)

I REFUSE to get onto that '..take this, don't take this....weight & re-weight the bag(s) ' merry-go-round .... Yep..!!!..Yep..!!!...Gonna DEFINITE-ly wait 'til those last 4-hours to do the packing.


but right-now i'm just waste-ing time
..can't focus
.....can't concentrate

i now-recall WHY i tend-ed to wait
until the last-minute(s) to-book

Just booked for Dec 10-20th and taking my mom. Probably her last big travel trip. She and I will be celebrating our birthdays. Me = 51, Mommy Dearest = 78

UPSIDE TO BOOKING EARLY!!!!
Anticipation is half the fun.
Keeps me going to the gym, lots of incentive to work out.
As takinitslow said, something to make these cold snowy winters of Minnesota more bearable.
Months to make people very jealous!!!!!!

Booked five months ago...first time back since 2002...less than 80 days to go...I think I can make...but it's gonna be close...!

Can't fool us Smith. Sweet anticipation is something we understand.
Booked myself a couple of days after you and am enjoying the 'planning' not 'planning' all too much.
We will be on island at the same time. But us only for 10 days.

Love the planning and deciding of what we will do and see.
